So, I don't follow spoilers, as I know you guys know. I don't watch trailers or previews, and I like to be surprised by guest spots if I can.

But knowing when movies are coming out? Well, that's okay.

So, Marvel's Phase Three? Well, I took a look.

And the ultimate piece being the Infinity War? Well, DUH. Obvious for so many reasons.* And also, fuck yes. Good thing this one is two movies, though. While there are some stories that shouldn't be split into multiples (I'm looking at you, Hobbit), how to get the Infinity War into just one would be a bit of a mystery.

*Went back and read this entry of mine and am reminded of all those reasons in the best way.

Oh, and a Carol Danvers movie? Captain Marvel? Be still my heart for a female superhero lead.

And did I mention fuck yes? *grin*

Hell yes. Plenty of "Talk Nerdy to Me" parodies out there, but I really enjoyed this one.

Also? The scene in the preview? Dragon heartstring here. Duh. ;)

I love this piece of art. I first saw it over on Wil Wheaton's bloggity-blog, and I immediately saved it for posting later. Alas, tonight I am cleaning up my desktop, so here we are. Please clickie to embiggen, as the phrase goes. It's well worth it. See how many characters you recognize! It's a fun game, and I'm completely stoked to see Stargate represented.The message matters to me, too. The idea of being one of the ones that "get it" and finding other like-minded folk just makes me smile. Of course, the fact that my favorite ninja turtle is right up front doesn't hurt my enjoyment of this one bit, either. *grin*

Cuz, I mean, well... duh. While I have a long-standing joke with lemonpiefirefly and a few others that I am, in fact, Iron Man, let's face it. I'm not quite as clean-shaven as Tony Stark, so to speak. My conscience, like his, was only grown as an adult, but it allowed me far more leniency in my younger years than Tony's did. Also, I'm not quite that smart and I am a Francophile, so while I will always be Iron Man to Beck (though she does have a soft spot for Gambit, too, so...), Gambit suits me just fine.
