EXIT STRATEGY is the 30th novel in the Reacher series.

First a Baltimore coffee shop. A seat in the corner, facing the door. Black coffee, two refills, no messing around. A minor interruption from two of the customers, but nothing he can’t deal with swiftly. As he leaves, a young guy brushes against him in the doorway. Instinctively Reacher checks the pocket holding his cash and passport. There’s no problem. Nothing is missing.

Jack Reacher is a hard-hitting former military police officer who, at the age of 36, leaves the military to travel the country. He takes odd jobs and begins to investigate suspicious, and frequently dangerous, situations. The world of Jack Reacher began in 1997 with the first book publication by Lee Child, which spawned a 29-part novel series, fifteen short stories/novellas, and multiple media adaptations.

In 2022, Reacher's world expanded with the first season of Prime Video's original series, Reacher. This first season is an adaptation of the first Reacher novel Killing Floor and sees Reacher get off the bus in the town of Margrave, where he is immediately arrested for murder and works to uncover a deep-rooted conspiracy in the small American town. The second season takes on the novel Bad Luck and Trouble with Reacher avenging the murders of former members of his Special Investigations unit from his Army days. The third season adapts the novel Persuader. The fourth season tackles the novel Gone Tomorrow.
