I am very fond of the crash bandicoot series, Crash 2 and 3 are genuinely some of my favorite games ever and I've replayed them countless times.

I didn't particularly love the late 2000s era of the series but the designers of those games gave Crash these stupid fucking tribal tattoos and a studded belt and it's like. Yeah, he would get those. He'd think they were so cool and they'd get infected because there's no way in hell he went to a reputable tattoo parlor for them. You guys fucking nailed it.
