why did she say that.
Critical emergency: we are out of yummies in the fridge
Petra Parker who starts transitioning while she has the symbiote suit so the symbiote ends up forcefemming all of its future hosts.
as fun as unspecified (ba) or canon nonbinary (ak) protagonists are I do like how gbf goes to great lengths to make dual-gender variants of the shameless "please jerk off to our characters" images
yank nationalists (whether they're consciously aware they're being one or not) think they found the cheat code with "Actually it's American Exceptionalism to say that the USA is uniquely evil!" Let us set aside the fact that USA Exceptionalism is a very specific term that doesn't mean "the USA is unique," and that these people are grossly misusing the concept. The fact of the matter is, the USA really is that evil. The USA is the only country to use nuclear weapons in wartime and deliberately targeted civilian population centers. It is the only nation with the amount of the overseas bases it has. It is the only nation to not be a party to any swath of international treaties, including one on the rights of children, because they value the abolity to be Protestant social reactionaries more than they value coexisting with rest of the world.
The USA sends more Christian missionaries than other top 5 nations combined, and spends more on its militaries than other top 5 nations combined. It is the only country to vote against lifting the blockade on Cuba that it has been keeping up for decades, among other human rights resolutions it keeps voting against in the name of "we should be able to do what we want." It is a nation with a mindset of a toddler holding dangerous weapons that it has show. willingness to use. Even by their flawed definition and application of the term, the USA is a uniquely bad entity on the global stage.
The part about nukes is technically true but unfair. In WW2 everyone who could was destroying enemy cities by bombing; the US was the only country to do it with nukes bc the US was the only country that developed working nukes before the end of the war, but if England, Germany, the Soviet Union, or Japan had had them then they certainly would have used them the same way.
(Most of the rest of your specific criticisms are, unfortunately, correct.)
lmao using nukes on a nation that was ready to surrender but was seeking reassurances for other parties relevant in the discussion (such as the USSR) in the name of "unconditional surrender" is not about winning the war anymore; it's a ghoulish display of power with the thinnest excuse that war is technically still going on. You fucking yanks love excusing unleashing the worst weapon to be devised in human history upon 2 cities full of East Asian civilians. Stick to math and shut up about history.

Is transitioning even worth it? i see so many posts every day talking about how being a trans woman in todays society is utter hell. I kind of feel like a girl but I could live without it, yknow? i don't need it in order to be happy. It would be nice but it would be so much effort just to be pelted with a barrage of misery every day from vitriolic bigots.
idk im just feeling kinda hopeless abt the whole thing :(

it is more worth it than you can possibly imagine
When a popular girl you follow reblogs your post its like getting pinned to the wall and kissed by her without any of your own input
