Thanks! I'll consider adding those in the future

The atmosphere of the game was really good. I liked the way it is setup. I kept getting cornered in dead ends, and I only managed to finish the first area, not sure how to get the power online on the yellow area, sadly. I'm not really good at horror games, but it got me tensed up a couple times, which makes it a good horror game!

I think the mouse + escape key is kinda buggy at times, especially on the web build too. Just needed to click a few times in the game to be able to gain back control. Besides that, good job on making the entire thing in 10 days!

Hey fellow orange cat game! :>

It's a real cute and funny game where you can play as the cat to annoy the owner! I liked that all the stuff can be flung around chaotically, love the physics. The interaction with the fan switch was interesting, will love to see more funny stuff like creating a fire hazard and stuff >:)

Really interesting game! I like the concept itself, could become a new rage game title!

The feedback I have is regarding the physics, which is quite inconsistent. It might be the joints with the rest of the body, but each jump goes to a different height, making it quite hard to control, which is perfectly fine if this was your intention for the game.

I only managed to get to 32% over multiple tries sadly. I'm not really good at rage games :) Overall, it's a great game that is  not for me unfortunately!

Thanks for playing! I planned more stuff in between the start and the fishing, but ran out of time. I wanted the ending to be "fishing the start button back up" since it fell down, and it ended up taking up a huge chunk of the game.

Thanks a lot for even achieving the secret ending as well! I hope you liked the twist heheh.

Really cool art you have there!

Virus Survivors :) Managed to finish the game with 1 hp haha. Would prefer a way to heal my character, because it got quite tough when I made a mistake early on. The upgrades can certainly be more varied and more balanced too, as well as having a better wave system to justify having the random projectile upgrade (otherwise it will almost always hit nothing), compared to other more juicier +1 projectile upgrade.

As a first time game jam, that's a pretty good concept.

Also a little advice - next time try to upload a web build so people can try your game without having to download it, it's better to prevent virus (heh) and such, and windows gave me a warning trying to launch your game so it might have discouraged some people to try the game.

Very interesting concept, and I'd like to see it expanded with like fried noodles, boiled + chopped fruits etc. I feel like most of my combinations always end with the ashes which was a little bit sad. Also encountered some bugs but that's fine for a game jam.

Pretty fun overall and nice art style, music and overall vibes/weirdness of the game!

Interesting game, a blend of undertale combat and rhythm-games like stuff. The parry was a bit clunky, but figured it out to parry then move into the red projectiles.

Pretty fun! Although can be a bit frustrating at times. Might be my skill issue :)

I couldn't get past the typing game, but for learning Godot in a month to this, that's pretty great progress! Keep it up and you might be doing something amazing!

Amazing game! I like the style of it. A bug/issue I found that was inconsistent was clicking on the colored buttons for the code sometimes randomly registers twice. Not sure what is the cause and I had to replay it and it almost messed up my second run.

Other than the bug, it's a really solid tackle on the theme. Good job!

Pretty chill game, obstacles are pretty nice, but I'd prefer to have a quick restart button when I kept messing up because of my skill issue haha

Thank you the comments, I really appreciate it :)

Thanks for playing!

Who knows what else it can do :)

Solid platformer, however would like to have a better view on where I'm jumping, and it was a bit punishing. The lack of sounds and the repetitive music was a bit tiring too.

A really fun game 9/10! I liked the boss fights and the gradual introduction of mechanics. One tiny little nitpick is that the final boss do not really require you to use the stasis (right click) at all. But perhaps that's just a design choice. I liked the ending too.

Simply amazing! I struggled making these kinds of interactions in my game myself, so I know you've really put a lot of effort into finishing it!

Got both endings, and the bad one is so sad. I liked the detail when the assistant sulked at the bottom awaiting death when I told him I'm deleting him :c

Nice game! It's a bit hard to know if Geoff can go up a ramp, or if the line's edge is too steep for it to climb.

Also, the music feels a bit too much haha, might've just been me. But the music made me feel like I'm running out of time.

Overall the game's concept is great! Great job on your first game jam!

10/10. The story is really good, well written. The music and the dream scenes pair well with the direction. The dream screen shader is really good too.

I got a minor glitch where I activated the phone call and my character floated away (might have triggered while I was jumping)

I got 2 endings, and I like them a lot. Congratz on making this much in just 10 days!

Thanks!

I managed to get past the 2nd level, but I have no idea how the third screen worked, and gets really hectic to juggle things around. Would love to have some explanation but managed to figure out the second screen. Overall nice concept, great job!

Nice mechanically changing platformer! The spikes collision seem a bit unfair, especially the start of the cannon level, I seem to keep getting hit by them when I try to get in the first cannon

The web build doesn't work, just shows a black screen. Anyways, I tried the windows build and I noticed that the green light doesn't sync up with the sound, which is a bit hard to gauge when to release the click.

Sorry, I'm really confused with the game's objective. I saw that you mentioned there are multiple levels, but I'm not even sure what I should be doing in the first level. Not sure if it's intended, but the cubes and spheres can be thrown out of room. Not sure what the green cylinder does as well.

Really cool puzzle game. I liked the puzzles though I ran out of brain cells in the second green level. I do wished that holding a direction can do some continuous movement, instead of needing to hit a key several times for it to go. Also, the portals do not have indication of where they go to, which is a bit hard to plan ahead

Pretty fun game, although there's a lack of sounds when I hit enemies or destroy them. I see that the controls are meant for mobile too, which is nice. Got to level 3. Only complaint is that the shield doesn't remove the blue shocking projectiles

Edit: I tried it again after seeing Inbound Shovel playing it with proper sounds, and I think the sliders volume in the menu was a bit bugged. Or at least the default volume in the middle was too soft, making me think that the game had no sounds. Sorry about that.

I see, thanks for the reply.

Hello everyone, I've been looking at my analytics of an asset that I released on the 2nd of June (Monday). I've gotten a decent CTR at first, 3% dropping to 1.5% over the week, with around 3k impressions IIRC. However, last Sunday (June 8, tiny spike in the below image), my impressions shot up to ~35k and my CTR tanked to 0.15%. It got a bit better a day after that and now it's way way worse that what I'd expected.

This is my current analytics:

I'm wondering if this is normal or has it happened to anyone? I followed all the tips/guidelines to properly setup my page and I don't think I've done super bad on my page considering my CTR was 1-3% during my first few days. I can only think of a couple scenarios that could contribute to this:

  • Bots (Does Itch fix the stat afterwards? I've been waiting for a fix but nothing so far)
  • A completely unrelated game jam happened during the weekend and a lot of people were looking for assets (My assets are pixel art fantasy weapon icons, so is quite niche/specific)

If you want to check out the page for reference (not tryna promote) - here's the link + what the capsule looks like:

No problem from me either.

Hi, I want to understand more about the rules regarding post-voting period updates. I'm hoping that the limitations of what can and cannot be done can be clarified.

  1. For games running on browser, can we update the HTML game running on the browser? Or can the updates only exist as a new, separate downloadable build?
  2. I assume adding Music and SFX volume sliders count as QoL, but can we change the sounds slightly, like changing jumping sounds into a different one.
  3. Can we add a small non-interactable sign texture to guide the player? Like a sign board with an arrow pointing where to go next. Or is this considered as additional content?

Thanks.

Pretty fun and interesting game, the only thing I wished was there to be more enemy variations in each biome. The boss fights are pretty interesting in how each one of them work too!

Ahh, I just replicated the soft lock and I totally did not expect this would happen when I designed the small scenario. Thanks for the feedback!

I only used Arrow Keys when I tried last time. Probably a skill issue for me >.> I'll try it out again later.

Thanks for the feedback. It is true the switches wasn't given much thought, considering that the player can't see the gate opening when interacting with the second switch. Understandable for the elevator part, the second level was a bit rushed in terms of design choices haha.

I guess some directions on the first level is needed too. Thanks for playing.

This is insanely well executed, there's a lot of content and balance between the different units and terrain. Paired with the random upgrades, the game is a lot of fun!

I didn't manage to finish all levels because I'm not that good at deckbuilders, but I can see a lot of effort put into the design that makes the game polished and stand out!  👏👏

Fun little game. I like the progression of the game, especially the falling rock, though a bit more and different warnings about how the rock and the cloud works would be great.

I like how the background implies Ironmouse's shortness haha.
Your music makes me want to suffer in play Celeste again.

Funny game! Though I felt like it was more of a memorization game instead of logically reasoning which tool to use. But it has its charm in the way problems were solved.

It's fun, but the controls are way too hard for me, needing to jump, stomp and release jump to slide instead of bouncing was a bit too difficult for me.

I like the mechanics introduced and the progression, though I didn't manage to finish it. Solid game!
