I’ve created several maps for the Source engine and playing this is very spot on, felt right at home! The story drew me in and I want to know more about this dev, I feel like there’s more to this that I want to discover. Never heard of the Range Engine before but if it can do this, well it sure is interesting. Great work!
Really love the concept, I dig the artstyle and all, but input-wise I have no idea if I’m bad or if the latency is to blame (the latency option in the menus is a nice thought but when I don’t know how many ms of latency I have it’s of no use to me). If you ever want to improve the game post-jam I’d love to replay it though, great job!
The presentation is really nice! Design-wise, I think the powerups tend to scale very slowly, at least with the ones I chose. It made me wonder if I would ever see the ending screen because I would always complete the next loop. Eventually I failed, around loop 17 (because I started endlessly shooting around and didn’t see an enemy on the side) but it felt like a really long time, I almost decided to lose on purpose to move on to something else… Overall it’s a good take on the theme!
Concept is very cool, I just had a rough start understanding what was going on but once I got it, it went rather smooth (27/40 kids)! My biggest gripe with it currently is that the halo surrounding houses isn’t visible and distinct enough from the environment so I ended up sending the wrong kids because I couldn’t guess the color in an instant. Still, it was a good experience.
Hey, merci d’avoir testé le jeu et avoir rapporté ce bug ! Ma suspicion principale est que le train s’est arrêté pile au bord du quai et qu’il y a donc une chance très rare que ce bug arrive, mais la version actuelle devait déjà corriger ce bug……. Je pense pas que j’aurais le temps ni l’envie de corriger ça, ça reste un bug très rare et c’est vraiment pas de chance que ça te soit arrivé. Je te suggère donc de recommencer le jeu mais en t’arrêtant au milieu du quai.

The game is really nice and I’m impressed with how you came up with the AI navigation and several levels in such a short amount of time. I ended up 3rd on the first race because I didn’t understand I could click anywhere on the map to throw items rather than clicking on the bottom-right corner, then when I got it, ended up 1st every time. Overall it’s really awesome.
