Hi, raw midi files can be disappointing at first : it's because it's only the note, but not the dynamics, so it can feel almost robotic. i simulate dynamics with velocity to show you where to tweak dynamics. I play with tempo too, to slow down or accelerate some parts...  I use arturia piano, roland galaxias, spire and many fx like vinyl, taip etc...  it's a little work, but the secret is the dynamics, filters. For the drums you'll maybe have to move hats or snare from a column to another to match your drum in your daw depending of the kind of drum kit you use. MIDI is a great way for songstarters but it will need some work. Sometimes i modify some notes for the final output, add some lines or copy paste some movements... No loop samples were used.  Lofi music need heavy effects, specific sounds, and inspiration ! Keep on ! 

Hi ! I just downloaded the files to test, everything is fine and here. Download the RAR from itch.io, unrar, you'll get a folder with : a png ( the visual ) and 27 zip files, each zip is a song ( 1 mp3 and 2 midis for each zip file ) . just unzip all or some songs and you're done ! enjoy ! 

Hi, most of my Vangelist ( it's pure Blade Runner tribute, lucky you ! )  tracks are safe. One or two used some royalty free samples loops and one song has been flagged because it used the same sample ( it's a big problem on YT with ID Content ), not because it's infringement, just because the guy who made the music declared it as his own which is not true of course and forbidden by the rules of the samples creator AND YT ID Content, so nothing will happen, NEVER. I don't remember which one is, but you have the name of the song at the end of my youtube description after the chapter list. you can follow the link to hear which one it is. ) But apart this one, everything is fine. You can use VANGELIST 2076 100% original creation without sample to add some tracks, FEORAH, for some epic Blade Runner moment, the ATMOS serie, for drone background, MOTHERSHIP, you can grab interesting tracks and it's adaptative ( combat layers ) , APOCALYPSE Z that can be nice in a weird Blade Runner environment, CYBERSCAPE too can be useful, A MEDITATIVE SOUNDSCAPE that is relaxing for BLADE RUNNER games ( especially ELECTRIC DREAMS tracks ) and the CYBERTRACKS serie of course especially CYBERTRACKS 1 and the "CORPO" of course. A world without corporations is not a Blade Runner world... They are ALL FREE and if samples are used they are exclusively royalty free commercial samples. Even ANEMOIA can be interesting for your game... So if you get a YT flag somewhere, no panic, nothing will happen because the guy would be destroyed. They are just dumb. Hi, yes i know. Some samples have been used. Those samples are not "cleared", meaning you cannot copyright them, because they are copyrighted by the creator of the samples. That's why I'm not ID content those tracks. ( forbidden ). Well, this guy is a fraud and it 's  against the policy of the samples creator and apple ( the guy said yes, i created everything from scratch which is untrue... ) . Thank you for telling me that, i'll join the creator of the samples . He will enjoy the news. And it's a real copyright infringment, and the creator is a big company. He is toasted. Oh and by the way, now this MTF blocked all the songs of creators who used maybe only one of those samples. Great, right ? Thanks bro... So when you unrar ( use winrar ) you should get a file with all the songs in zip format. Then you select all or some and you unzip them and that's all. But if you don't see them,  that's annoying... Try to redownload the package. if you don't get the files to be extracted, come back to me, i'll create a personalized download page for you with extracted songs. No problem. Keep me in touch. Hi ! When you unrar the archive, every song is a zip file containing the mp3 and the two midis. Maybe you didn't unzip them all before. So you unrar and you unzip ... I just tried the archive, i have all the songs. Regards.

Oh, i's quite possible if he used the same samples loops i used in 2022 which are free to use for every producers ( like Splice, output, loopmasters etc... ) . I used this kind of sample loops to test a genre on itch that could fit in videogames. Now i'm not using large sample loops anymore to avoid this kind of dirty issue or any YT ID content problem ( some songs are id content sample based compositions which is forbidden to release as original composition, ruining other producers releases ). You can add something if you want, just don't make sample of Cybertracks to sell as a sample pack for exemple. Just that. Loop is ok, no worry, and you can make adjustments and add some stuff if you want !  Enjoy !

Yes you can loop it, but avoid any sampling. Some songs use royalty free samples that are owned by third party and cannot be sampled. But looping is allowed. Good luck !

EDIT : Re. Bon je viens d'installer Ableton et cela fonctionne parfaitement. Je pense que vous n'avez pas décompressé les ostinatos dans le dossier. En fait quand vous téléchargez le fichier RAR sur Itch.io, vous le décompressez puis à l'interieur vous avez chaque ostinato également compressés en ZIP, donc vous allez décompresser à nouveau dans le dossier chaque sous dossier ostinato. Quand je ne décompresse pas les ostinatos, windows me permet d'ouvrir les sous dossiers compressés, je le glisse et je me retrouve en effet sur Ableton avec un symbole "interdit de stationner :D ", ce que vous devez avoir en ce moment. Si je décompresse le ZIP de l'Ostinato et que je glisse à nouveau le fichier midi sur MIDI 1 par exemple, je vois apparaitre toutes les pistes sur MIDI 1, MIDI 2 et il me crée 3 autres MIDI ( 3,4 et 5 ) avec le nom de chaque piste ( violons1, violons 2, Violas, Celli, Double Bass ) et les notes sont visibles dans la grille. Donc je pense que c'est juste une omission de votre part concernant la deuxième décompression ZIP à l'intérieur du dossier. Vous vous êtes fait couillonner par l'explorateur Windows, pas de panique ça arrive souvent. 

En résumé, unRAR pour le dossier sur itch.io, puis dans le dossier, unZIP de chaque ostinato dans le dossier. Et voilà, vous les avez.

Salut, vous avez essayé de glisser le fichier .mid directement dans la piste  et cela ne fonctionne pas ? Pensez à décompresser chaque ostinato pour accéder à son dossier contenant 3 fichiers : la demo mp3 de l'ostinato choisi et deux fichiers midi ( Orchestrated et Reduced ).  Il arrive que l'on clique sur le dossier compressé et que l'on glisse le fichier .mid choisi ( mais toujours non décompressé ) et ça ne marche pas. Si je vous le dit, c'est que cela arrive souvent.  Sinon, c'est un fichier midi multipiste, c'est peut être la raison pour laquelle il ne le fait pas si vous avez décompressé correctement; si vous avez tenté de glisser le fichier directement sur une piste par exemple. Ils ont été testés sur Cubase et FLStudio et fonctionnent sans souci mais pas testés sur Ableton live. Essayez d'ouvrir le fichier en importation directe, vous devriez avoir la possibilité de selectionner les differentes pistes du fichier midi. Tenez moi au jus, on va trouver une solution. 

Edit : Je viens de voir que je peux installer Ableton Live 12 avec mon compte LandR, je vais l'installer et tester les fichiers afin de trouver la solution. Bien à vous.  Fab
