Just wanted to leave a note saying how much I appreciate the design of this in every way! The design of your itch.io page feels super immersive and polished; the trifold layout itself is easily understood, beautiful, clean, and utilizes color effectively without being overwhelming; and the actual game design is interesting, creative, and evocative. I've never made a trifold zine before, and this one has sparked a lot of inspiration; thank you for sharing it!
I had organized a one-shot of LAST TRAIN tonight with some friends, having previously bought the PDF, but when I went to download the PDF this afternoon, the purchase page told me that there were no available files for download. I understand that you're pausing PDF sales as the BackerKit campaign revs up, but could you please restore purchases for people who've already bought the TTRPG? Thanks!
I'm sharing my casting call for WAITING FOR THE DEATH WIND, a very short visual novel that will be submitted to this game jam, featuring dialogue between two characters: a dying Athenian warrior and his goddess.
For the warrior, I'm paying a flat 175 USD for around 30 dialogue lines and a short, 7-line poem excerpt.
- Voice Type: Masculine adult, medium or deep pitch
- Accent: Greek (think masc characters from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey)
- Voice Type: Femme adult, medium pitch
- Accent: Greek (think femme characters from Assassin's Creed Odyssey)
This project has a tight turnaround, so please make sure to take a look at the timeline before submitting an audition. Feel free to DM me on Discord with questions (my username is "Jaylus"), but only submit audition lines via the casting call.
You can view the games I’ve created at https://www.romanhyacinths.com/games. I previously worked with a VA on another short visual novel, which you can play here.
Cheers!
Insanely cool mockup — absolutely love this take on the multiverse prompt, and I'm so glad this jam was a good opportunity to bring some long-standing ideas to life! It reminded me a bit (in a good way) of the GMTK 2024 winner My Shadows Are Bright. I'm excited to see more of your ideas in the future!
