Pretty interesting concept! Love the art and music, and there's so much possibility for this game! Good job!

Hey, I really loved your game! Thanks for the feedback, the button thing is definitely on the to do list, I was really rushed on adding those. The money being random could either be from the vine multiplier or from the multiplier on overkill damage that I didn't find a place to explain and the shop prices are multiplied by a weird number (2.6) so they don't look super consistent. I'm happy that you liked game overall and the music, I didn't have much time for it and was worried that it was a bit repetitive after one or two listens lol
There are definitely some little details I could've gotten in there if I had more time, but I hadn't though about the buttons specifically, thanks for the advice! I didn't realize the game crashes when you go too high (I didn't build the number system to handle scientific notation) until after the submission period ended so that's just means you win lol. Funny enough, you probably can only get the big with the multipliers, and you're the first person I've heard use those specifically. I'm glad you had fun!
This game is really polished as a whole! The art, audio, and everything altogether is pretty great! One problem I had was the lack of involvement in the gameplay loop at first, but that was fixed with certain upgrades. My biggest complaint was the movement, because the player is so slow and I didn't even realize there were movement upgrades for a while because of how late they are. Overall, still a fun game with a neat gameplay loop!
Thank you for the compliments, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I tried to make the progression fun, and I tend to make game jam games too hard from a lack of playtesting, so hopefully that was lessened this time. A funny thing about the infinite progression is that it technically isn't infinite, I think the game crashes when you hit scientific notation (which takes a while so it's an edge case and doesn't matter much) because I forgot to accommodate that in the numbers system lol.
The art is absolutely amazing! The whole atmosphere created by everything combined is also pretty cool! I think some subtitles could help with the intro sequences, it was interesting but sometimes hard to understand. Overall, a great foundation and cool game! It seems like you're planning on expanding it, and I think that could result in a really fun and intriguing experience!
This game is really amazing overall! It's so polished and every part is great! The gameplay is fun, and the upgrade system being on a grid is a great spin on everything! The art, dialogue, and overall atmosphere is also incredible! I really hope this game wins because it's definitely the best I've played so far, I would definitely pay for a full version!
