Try looking over some of the dead bodies again, as well as the scenes inside the living room. I don't want to get more specific than that but hopefully this should help you know where to look. One more thing, deaths can sometimes be figured out via the wounds on the corpses...

Yeah this was part of a game jam whose theme was locked doors. So my interpretation of that was having a bunch of open and closed doors that you need to shift in time to get through.
The steam game is cleaner since there's a proper map, and a defined 'overworld'. So you can travel via the entire overworld contiguously and then explore whatever memory is in each room if that makes sense.
