thank you!

i would pay for this

Thanks for the reply.
I think ill try to make them in aseprite and import it to unity for now.

I think a few more impact and slash vfx would be cool, theres ones for arrows, a big curling swing like an axe, and the basic impact one could be an explosion or stab. But i wish there was one for a regular sword slash.
(https://kiddolink.itch.io/vfx-fx-slash-pixel-art a bit like this asset pack)

This pack is REALLY good, I especially love the word sprites, those have been fun to manually animate myself with wobbly text and palette shifting. I can be super creative with it

Do you have any advice on how to make VFX from these, using unity. I'm finding it hard to make good looking ones like the demo gifs on this page

thanks a lot, I was aiming for a modern NES look

thanks a lot! i plan to add catch up mechanics and items in the future

uhhmmm... GOTY 2027???

thanks a lot! yeah im gonna be 100% honest i have no clue why the sewer water does that, something i will aim to fix on the next build.
But glad you enjoyed and thanks for the feedback!

thanks so much! i graduated from university for game design, so im pretty experienced in designing and making things like this. I will 100% update this game more, mostly focusing on more and better levels. but youre right this was a proof of concept so look out for that in the next month or so :D

Thanks a lot, i do plan to update this game with longer levels and QOL updates now that the game jam has ended. glad you enjoyed

thanks, this is just a small turn based game maybe I will continue and make it a full game, no plans at the moment though. I appreciate you trying it out :)

Thank you!
The mage is a bit buggy with that, i intend to put out an update that should fix this very soon, thanks for catching that

Such an awesome game, the visuals and aesthetic are well done and reminds me a lot of gloomwood mixed with ultrakill. I think the level design could do with some working, as sliding throws you around at mach 10 and the walkways are pretty thin.

cant wait to see more!
