Darn right to make something lighthearted 🌈🥰

So cute! It’s a simple premise to shoot hearts at the enemies, and it works! Inspiring concept. I also love what you did to the sound fx, did you deliberately lower the bitrate on those?

Thank yooouuu!

Wonderful feedback! Loving it. Thank you so much!

Great visuals, audio, and overall atmosphere! I really felt alone out there. Couldn’t finish on the first try, due to me playing this game on a 10-year old i3 laptop (lag), but I’ll come back here on a more performant laptop later! Definitely worth checking this game out.

The pixel art is amazing. The combat was too easy, though. I did not understand half of the meter at the top, and could just win battles by just pressing space bare repeatedly. Well, I know, it’s more of a demo… Still, I love the pixel art!

Thank you so much for playing and your feedback, Methil!

Very well done! I loved the overall visuals and audio, especially the boss, who made a very nice entrance indeed. Wished the mech’s projectiles were a little faster though, and that the enemy grunts would stop rising from the dead.

The juice and color palette on this one are on point! Shame though the mech’s battery was only 100 seconds, which was too short for me to break the ‘ice’ bricks all the to the right. Yeah, and I found a bug where you re-spawn at an impossible-to-get-out-of spot in the first screen, near the shuttle. But yeah, I loved the overall feel and juice of this one!

Yaay, I beat the boss, he indeed was chillin. I love the textures you put on the meshes, they look very retro! Don’t know about other browsers, but the gun sounds and explosion sounds sounded quite distorted / choppy on my browser. But that was the only gripe I had. I also loved that you could choose your character, although it didn’t seem very logical to me that some were more armor-handicapped than tohers, without showing that the low-armor characters had other advantages, like speed or power.

All in all, good work for this polished game!

Wheeee, allons y tous a la Wii!

I second the above. The narration is believable though.

Zut alors…

Merci beaucoup, PN! J’aime comment tu ecrit ton ‘comment’ :-)

Well, I gotta make my games more PixelMetalWolf-proof, I guess… Thank you for being so modest!

Thanks for playing here and your feedback!

My lesson here is that it isn’t obvious enough that the enemy blocks your attacks, seeming like your attacks don’t land.

Hi sweet people!

Thank you so much for visiting this game’s page.

I hope to expand on the mechanics in this game in later projects, as part of my education. So please give feedback on this game:

  • How understandable did you find the main gameplay?
  • How did the game change how you feel about the effects of meditation?
  • Anything you think should be improved in this game?

Hi! Alas, our team’s game is as good as prototyped. I’m focusing on mentoring this jam’s participants over the next week, instead of on making the game.

Yes, it’s hard, I know.

“Pain travels through generations until someone is ready to heal it in themselves. By going through the agony of healing, you no longer pass on the poison chalice on to the generations that follow” - Stephi Wagner

I would be honored if you DM me through this game jam’s Discord channel. Because it is too rare to find someone who feels the same way about this matter.

This is golden, Edorg. There should be more focus on the generational coping mechanisms passed down through generations. These started many years ago. I think the same way as you about this, and you managed to show this in a short but very precise way. I take a bow to you!

Hi Matthias! I’m interested :-) Check your Discord.

Here’s the soundtrack, and I’m looking for a composer who can improve it :-)

Hi! I go by the moniker “Londolan” (he/him), and I’m looking for artists to collab on this game jam! Note: people in Central Europe timezone or near it.

THE GAME IDEA

My vision for this project:

  • the player character is a neurodivergent person;
  • their task is to take care of a very ill loved one;
  • meanwhile, they need to manage their own energy levels.

I intend to post this message also for the Psyche Game Jam 2026.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR

I’m up for it to co-operate with artists who love to create visual art (2d/3d) or audio art (music/SFX). Do you have these skills? Good, then please send a private message. Do you have enthusiasm and dependability? Even better!

I like to start early with this project, even before the jam starts. The sooner the better!

Maybe you noticed: I did my best to make this post easy to read for people with dyslexia. I hope I succeeded in that!

ABOUT ME

I have fun programming with Unity and Godot. For this project, I want to use the Defold game engine.

I have fun 3d modeling in Blender. For the textures I sometimes use Polyhaven. For the animations sometimes Mixamo.

I have fun 2d drawing in Krita and Aseprite. In Krita I like to paint skyboxes and textures. In Aseprite I like to draw pixel art.

I have fun composing music in DAWs. And sometimes DAWless.

Hi Nix,

The game you made “We don’t have many days” looks good! I’m interested in teaming up. I’m from the Netherlands, and comfortable with Unity3d/C#, Godot/gdscript, Blender3D modeling, Aseprite, and making music in my DAW. You can find my 1-minute showcase here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8E5IH18eNY . I really really need a sparring partner for making a (serious) game about mental health! Please let me know if and using which channel you want to connect and collab :-)

Grtz, Londolan.

Hi TNM, I tried to make the game more approachable by adding a single player mode with only one spacejet instead of two. I hope the game is more approachable to you now!

This is surprisingly quirky. With the title and the screenshots, I was expecting something very dark. But this quirkiness would fit at Newgrounds well.

Some stuff to improve:

  • some enemies continue for a split second after hitting them, this shouldn’t be so
  • the ‘slide after stopping walking’ mechanic needs some balancing, right now it feels like the sliding is a little bit too much

Got 1371 score, 29 wpm, accuracy 89%.

Interesting concept, I can see this being used in an educational setting.

A lot of attention and intention went into this game, as well as the devlogs. I like where this game is headed, even though it’s still just past the beginning stages of development.

Well done on the graphics part! The obstacle spawning was also done well, except that at one play, an obstacle was put right in front of me the second I could start playing, meaning it was game over at second zero.

My, what a delightful story. Feel good vibes to it. Personally I would pick different music for the title screen and for the in-the-car scene at the start.

The title screen music sounds a little bit mysterious, almost psychological horror-y, which the game isn’t. It’s a cute story!

The in-the-car music sounds like battle music for an RPG right from the start. Which sounds a bit off, seeing that the main character is just driving.

Overall, thanks for the cosy experience!

A relaxing experience. Thank you!

Hahaha, just like me you were inspired by the 80s Asteroids game huh? It’s nice to see your unique multiplayer take on that game. The gameplay was nice and intuitive to understand. It would be even better with the Glow effect for a more synthwave look.

Couldn’t find quite fast how to get other weapons though…
