Very nitrome coded, this is super sick, very fun! The physics feel great!

Music and co-SFX guy here, thanks for listening I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks for checking the game out! Glad you liked the sound design and you picked up on the satisfying intent!

Wowow I had to read the title of this devlog a couple of times to let it fully sink in!! 1400 (as the download counter currently stands) is beyond the number of people I can physically imagine in most given spaces, so to think that that many people have downloaded, taken the time to play, and have left meaningful comments on a game I’ve participated in is super exciting!

Seeing the game in its current state, being able to see how deeply people enjoy interacting with the story, characters and the world they occupy is both deeply fulfilling as a musician and as a game / story lover! Seeing the level of polish, care and attention given to this game in the small details of the UI, the backgrounds and animations as well as the subtlety and intention behind each piece of artwork has been such a treat. I’m so excited to continue to try and enhance these elements and am looking forward to seeing the game blossom even further!

Huge huge thank you to @Lemonink for letting me participate in this project! You have put so much time, effort and care into every part of this process and it is so satisfying to see that pay off with the response to your game and its story. As much as doubt may manifest (which is another form of your love, passion and care for the game and the playerbase) and even in the unlikely event that the demons of the internal world will manifest 1:1 into real, dorito-fueled internet hate, you have this factual, science-backed number to look back on. 1400 people saw your game, took interest in the world, story and characters, and felt the desire to take tangible action to be a part of it. That is real, beyond any doubt as it may appear. (Source: lifelong /chronic self-doubter lol). You have created something truly special and I am proud to be a part of it!

TLDR: Yay! WOW 1400+ is more people than Jon can comprehend in a physical space, you have put tremendous amounts of time /effort / care into this project and you should be proud! Thank you for letting me be a part of it!

Absolute banger, I can really feel the eye shooting the zombies. Eye Shoot Zombies full version is gonna go crazy

Thank you for listening, I appreciate it!

thank you!

Wow, what a response! First of all, thank you for listening and for taking the time to write this!

You hit the nail on the head with the theme, and I’m glad I was able to musically translate that! You also picked up on small details and symbols that I hadn’t even thought of which is awesome, like the alarm sound in cyclical severance! And yup, revival and rejuvination uses subtle themes repurposed from previous tracks, but the most themes lie in the overall instrumentation as it relates to the story.

Once more, thank you for listening, I truly appreciate your kind words!

I’m glad you were able to enjoy it, thank you for listening!

Thank you so much! I’m glad you were able to pick up on that larger theme! Thank you again for listening!

Thank you for listening I really appreciate it! And ya got me-I am a big fan of LABS lol. Thank you again for the kind words about the soundtrack, I’m really glad it resonated with you!

nice, I’m glad you liked it / had a chance to listen to it!

Some really nice orchestration and atmosphere shown here, well done!

I definitely hear the mystery theme shine through here which is awesome! Reminds me a lot of a DS era game, which I love! Nice work!

Thank you very much for listening, I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm always humbled when I give my listeners chills🙏

Excellent lo-poly vibe! Very cool arrangements as well, great instrumentation! Way to set a tone! Well done!

These are really cool! For these types of jams there can be a focus on just making a song instead of something to fit into a game (I think I did it better this time around but I've def been guilty of this in the past lol) and I think the colors you have add so much to the overall world you built. Unabashedly creative and well done!

this was really cool! The surfrock theme was a really creative idea and you worked it well into the overall narrative and theme! The whole OST reminds me a lot of the game Unsolved Case (which took me forever to find the name of lol). Great work!

this was cool! Very solid mix and storytelling! In One Summer Night Over Time 2, I might like to see a wider variety (which I also understand as being part of the time loop theme) of key centers and harmonic content, but the progression and key you did have was great! Well done!

This is fantastic! the sheer variety of instruments that might otherwise be relegated to a specific genre (the western whistle with acoustic guitar) fit super well! this combined with the mandolin, synths and electric guitar made for a super cinematic song. Not only that, but these creative choices are backed by a KILLER mix and master as well as gorgeous harmonies. Steller submission and amazing work!

And there 16 SONGS OF IT?!? Insane work, very well done x2

This was really cool! I really the variety of instruments and thought the blending between them (i.e. chiptune + drum and amen break / downtempo dnb) was really well done! Very nice work!

Wow! Love a good horror submission, and this was no exception! I especially liked The Decayed, spectacular mixing work on that one! Very well done!

I'm glad you were able to get so much out of this OST! thank you listening!

Great chiptune submission! I really liked the harmony and how dynamic you made all of the sounds! It didn't feel like there were any notes that were misplaced or placed without intention. Very well done!

I agree that it reminds me of the professor layton games! the instrumentation and orchestration were really nice, well done!

You did a fantastic job of capturing and combining the overall warmth of summer with the coldness of melancholy. Great work!

this is cool! I was reminded a lot of 3DS era games, and the jazz harmony was really nice! Well done!

Awesome! The gradual increase in intensity made for a fantastic story arc with the consistent theme of cicadas tying everything together! Fantastic mix and great work!

Very professional and immersive sound, I truly felt a cold forest breeze enter my room as I listened! Excellent job!

WOW. Extremely well crafted OST! Stellar mix, beautiful harmonies, orchestration and instrumentation! This soundtrack alone paints an entire picture of a game to go along with it. Excellent work!

Wow! the nighttime track is really well done, the guitar sounds fantastic! you nailed the lo-fi vibe while still giving it your own color and adding in the (imo superior to traditional lo-fi) elements of ambient music! Well done!

Beautiful! I can definitely hear this in a jrpg setting and the mix of ambient and orchestra in Eternal Atmosphere was really well done! Nice work!

Nice diverse, fun soundtrack with some very cool crunchy textures! Not to mention interesting harmony and dynamic production style! Good work!

We singing shanties and pillaging villages with this one🔥🏴‍☠️🦜 Very consistent style and mix throughout! Well done matey!

Nailed the fruitger aero vibes in this one, reminded me a lot of old-school ms paint point and click adventures, which was really nice! Well done!

That's great to hear, I'm glad you enjoyed those! Thanks for listening!

Thank you so much!
