Great game! Bye little guy!
Took me probably twice as long, as I didn't notice the key on the computer... duh. And I thought the blinking white was bad. So I placed everything correct letters, wrong colors. I got down to the last 2 or 3, remembered there were a couple in the office... and looked at the computer :D At that point I HAD to finish it... I also didn't see letters on the colors on the terminal - just saw the colors. I see in the screenshot there is a "C" on the teal.
I don't know if others played this way, but once I figured it out I sorted everything by color in front of each machine. The upgrades for carrying came way too late to help with much. Just a slight nitpick, you did a great job.
Oh, and that font definitely looks like the title is "Warm boob". :D You eye finishes the circle on the lower case t where the itch text covers it, lol.
Anyway, this looks like a huge amount of work, congrats, great job!
Yeah, was working on respawn at the last minute, just ran out of time. I was so close too :D
I thought it was funny to have "undercover" cops in there, so I left the lights/sirens on everyone. As much chaos as possible. Also didn't get to destructible objects, I'll add all that stuff in after the jam. Thanks for playing!
Nice work. Saw the devlog on youtube and had to try it. You got a lot into this game in 7 days! Hate the inverted controls (but that's just me, I hate them in every game), but I'm sure with enough practice I'd get used to it. Like the dizzy meter, but as someone else mentioned I'd like it to a character HUD so I know when to lay off the spinning. Nice work on the UI + sfx, adds a lot. Congrats!
Overall great entry. As much as I love a good fat font, it is super hard to read on the wheel, particularly with the text in grey against the muted wheel colors. I wasn't quite sure what to do with the upgrades, as it kept telling me there were no empty slots.
Anyway, love some of the overall design choices, colors and audio. The subtle wheel shake is a nice touch.
Gave it another shot, same result. It doesn't help that the fish are the same speed as you, so there is no way to ever catch up with them. I chased one all the way off the map. I can sometimes "trick" them by moving a different direction then swinging back, but never once has the S button worked. The movement of the arrow is too imprecise as well, it's tough to get a perfect angle on the fish. Let me know if you plan on updating after the jam, I'll give it another go.
Unfortunately was not able to make it out of the tutorial. Played for 10 minutes was not able to absorb a fish to gain weight. Read all the comments here to see if I was missing something. I wonder if this is a browser issue? There were definitely no colliders on walls, so I wonder if that also breaks the mechanic. Gave it a good try, sorry it didn't work out. Seemed like an interesting take.
I love this idea with the clothes. I went with the throwing knives but confetti instead of blood. The visuals and music are excellent. The hit boxes are a bit tough, I made it to the top hat. Music reminds me a bit of broken social scene for some reason.
I hadn't thought about this video in years, but the Daniels (Everything Everywhere All at Once) did a music video where hunters shot clothes onto nudists. If you haven't seen it look on their Vimeo page for JoyWave - Tongues ft. KOPPS. It's a bit NSFW so I won't post the link.
Anyway, fantastic submission!
Fellow Clown game here :D Love the artwork. The movement needs a bit of work, it's way too fast to have complete control eg. try getting to the edge of a horse. You could also use coyote time for the jumps, the speed mixed with the unforgiveness led to many Spinzo deaths. But he's ok, he comes back. Anyway, great job, had fun with it!
