I'm back after the jam to say I still really like this one and it was probably my favorite to play of the jam. I do hope you continue to develop it bc I really want to keep playing it!

Very cute and really well done. Visually everything looked really good and was fun to look at!

Great job!

This was a delight! I really like the concept and think there is a lot of laughs and fun to be had here. Truly awesomesauce

Great job!

Very cute and unique concept. I had some difficulty playing on a high resolution which made the text unreadable. But I was still able to get to the end and enjoy the game :)

Great job!

I really enjoyed my time with this game. The vibes and aesthetic were really nice. I had some difficulty getting started, but I'm glad I stuck with it.

Great job!

I think there is a solid basis here. I agree with some other comments that it was difficult at times to tell what was a hazard, and the movement could use a little tightening up. Some sounds I think would elevate this quite a bit.

Overall, good job and congrats on the game!

I think this was very impressive for your first jam and for working on it solo! I love that you made all the assets, and the designs were very interesting. My primary feedback would be to guide the player to the next area as it can be unclear where to go next, especially since the map is so large

Great job!

I've gotten a lot of requests for more UI elements, if I revisit this after the jam that will def be the first thing I add. I will also work on making the horse even more evil 𓃗𓃗𓃗

haha Thank you for playing my game and thanks for your feedback :)

That's very nice of you to say! I really tried very hard to come up with something I felt truly fit the theme. The food pick up lines were one of the very last things I threw in, and I'm glad that I did as people seem to really enjoy them! As much as I tried to build a spooky atmosphere, I still wanted it to be fun and goofy :)

Thanks for playing and thank you for your kind words!

You get it! That classic 3AM writer experience :)

I don't disagree about the textures. I was purposefully going for lack of detail to try to evoke the sense of being so singularly focused you stop paying attention to your surroundings, but even still I would have like to implement some more set dressing. As these things go, I simply didn't have the time. Alas.

Thank you for taking the time to play my game and leave feedback!

I'm glad I was able to hit the theme !

Thank you for taking the time to play my game :)

Thank you for the kind words! I thought your game was also very atmospheric, so it means a lot that you would say that <3

Thanks for playing!

A solid auto runner. The leaderboard def had me replaying a few extra times. I enjoyed the backgrounds, maybe a little too much bc I kept getting distracted haha

Great job!

I think this is impressive for a week's work. There is a lot of strong basis, and a little polish could really make it shine. I personally found that the jump was not as powerful as I would like it to be, especially considering the size of the level. I also think that the crystals were a bit too fast, or maybe just need some audio element to let the player know they are near bc it can be difficult to be looking out for them when platforming.

Overall, good job!

I think that the concept is interesting, and with some more/different distractions it could make for a very solid game. I liked the eerie vibes of the house.

Good job!

This was a wonderful experience. The visuals and sound are great, the characters are all very interesting. I like how the puzzles are solved. All in all an amazing game!

Great job!

Very interesting, simple but still challenging. I think my computer had a little difficulty running it, I think the high fidelity of Unreal could lock some people out of being able to play it.

Overall, good job!

Fun fact, the internal name for the horse is "hormse", so the hormse really did get you 𓃗

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

When you have trouble writing a book, sometimes you need to roan the streets to get some in-spur-ation.

Thanks for neigh-ing!

This was a very complete and polished experience for a jam game! I liked the aesthetics and animations, reminds me a lot of old 00's flash games.

Great job!

This is very cute and obviously has a lot of character. It looks like you all had a lot of fun making it, and it shines thru in the designs and gameplay.

Great job!

Thank you! ngl I worked real hard trying to figure out the procgen. And I do think that I perhaps spent too much time on trying to hit the theme than fully fleshing out the gameplay. But I am glad that it seems I at least nailed the vibes!

Thanks for the kind words and thank you for playing!

This looks like a nice, polished platformer. Reminded me a lot of The Impossible Game. I was unable to play too much of it, as I have photosensitivity and the neon aesthetics were a bit much for me, but I enjoyed what I was able to play!

Great job!

This is a pretty solid puzzle platformer! I thought it was really cool when I realized I could shift into 3D space.

Great job!

This is a really solid game! I didn't read the instructions, but I still found I was able to get the hang of it pretty quick. When I made bad moves, I felt like it was my fault rather than blame the game. It's easy to see the potential of much larger maps and tile pools.

Great job!

I unfortunately got started so late in the jam I didn't have much time to really flesh out the AI. I wanted to do more tracking, and also allow the horse to hear you, but there's always more you hope to do in a jam game. I'm just happy to have finished, and am looking forward to the next one.

I'm sorry the sound didn't work for you. I will say, my game is MUCH quieter than most of the other jam games I played, so the volume might need to be turned up for it.

Regardless, thanks for giving my game a play!
