Hi everyone! Today I released my first project: Bilenay Reader, a calm desktop
reading app for EPUB and PDF files. Free (name your own price), Windows for now,
macOS and Linux coming after testing.
https://bilenay.itch.io/bilenay-reader
The idea: one quiet workspace for everything around reading, instead of a PDF
viewer here, a notes app there, and a timer somewhere else.
What's inside:
* Library with collections, pinning, search/filter, and per-book progress
* EPUB reading with table of contents, two-column view, typography controls, and six themes
* PDF reading with single/double-page and flow modes, free zoom, brightness/contrast/sepia, and in-document search
* Colored highlights with comments, bookmarks, free notes, and one searchable notes screen for the whole library
* Select-and-translate into 6 languages
* Reading stats: daily streak and an activity heatmap
* Focus timer (Pomodoro + stopwatch) with 24 atmospheric themes — Moon Library, Rainy Window, Detective Noir Office...
* Interface in English, Turkish, German, French, Russian, and Chinese
Everything is stored locally on your computer — no account, no cloud.
Translation is the only feature that needs internet.

This is v1.0 from a solo developer, so honest feedback means a lot: what works,
what breaks, what's missing. Thanks for reading, and happy reading! 🌙
