It's really hard. Also there are some parts where you really need to keep attention, when to spin, and I got myself holding down the mouse button in case any time the fans are coming from a different angle. Of course, if you hold down the mouse button in the same time you push A or D all those will be a miss.
I'm not saying it is bad, I REALLY enjoyed it, but it needs a lot of work. Keep up the good work ;)

I'm sorry, but I could not play the game. After I hit space the character falls off the screen, in the meantime all objects are appearing in one line in the middle of the screen one after each other. I saw more people complained, so I'm not sure what the issue can be. I tried with different browsers with the same results.
I'm really sorry, because I love endless runners like this...

(1 edit)

I hate that I'm suck at this game. The buttons are confusing and the mechanics I don't understand... But that's hopefully only on me. It does not make it less, as the visuals, the sounds, and the creativity here is really high! Great job for you! Poor play from me...
And it would be good, if an indicator would tell you at game over, why. Is it because of mosquitos got you? Or you jumped poorly? Sometimes I don't understand...

With the first words of the announcer it dragged me deep into the game. I really enjoyed it! I loved the oldschool style! The first game wher I could give max points to everything, that say it all.
What I didn't like: hitting enter instead of E or SPACE; the controls during the race (if it is only switched, why sometimes my character went to left when I pushed right, then turned right in some random moments?); and that it is impossible to spin that much with a mouse than the first guy does, so impossible to win the race. I tried it several times... no way...

Holy cow! I did not even see that :O
1 round and I was dead... But no, A legitimate one. Not a colorblind simulator mode :D

Thank you!
Still today I load up the game just to play with the coin, I really love, how it works. For me it still feels a bit off, so if I'll work later on it, I'll make it's own physics, not the Unity based one.
Mid-air flip was in the pipeline, but did not have time to do it. I was thinking about right click to slow down time for 5 seconds, and during that one more flip can be done.

For the 3rd level a hint: if you land on the first night or day platform, from there it is easy to go up. You just need to have a small velocity flip to the middle of the next platform, with just enough height. With that the coin will turn alway only 2 times, and land on the same side as it was ;)

Thank you very much! Yes, RNG is a factor, or hard learning of the physics.
If you land the coin on the side, there is an eclipse, where both day and night ghost platforms can be used, but I could not add more features to that. It was really hard to do that first, but when the platforms came in, it was easy to force the eclipse, so kind of thinking of getting rid of it...

Without a controller it is really hard to play, but  I see the potential. If there would be a mouse option (right/left click + scroll wheel) it would be much better for more platforms.

Yes, a coinflip is a coin flip... you win you lose. You are right, the level where you have to perform 6 jumps in a row without a single miss is quite tricky, but I just wanted to show, what is possible in the current concept.
I was thinking about the camera mechanics too late, was not able to implement it, but thank you for this, definitely needs a try.
Regarding the flip in mid air - That was a concept, which I did not have the time to do. Left click slow time for a short period, and during that a second flip can be performed. With that it would not be that frustrating for sure and can give another mechanic to the game.
Thank you for the feedback, it is really helpful, and for sure, if I will work on this again in the future, these will be reconsidered :)

I have PTSD from the old days when I played several Flash games like this.Amazing work, with achievement system, several upgrades, randomness. Love it!

Thank you

I can see why you are saying this. The platforms which are working only day or night should be clearly understandable. There should have been more levels to make sure the people are getting comfortable with the physics, and how to flip the coin to know, which side will be landed. After that it is still not that easy with platforms which are far away. For me as well after 1 week of development to finish all levels took 20 minutes (and got frustrated myself :)).
I would say it is an issue of my level building more than the issue of the mechanics. If I touch this again, I'll make sure it will be easier, at least the first 5 levels ;)

I enjoyed this too much, even I suck at it. It took me more than 20 minutes to finally complete the game, but it was done, and I loved every minute of it!

Thank you very much! I'm already thinking about it. Maybe I'll pick it up a bit later, and make a full, clearer, better version ;)

Call me a shrimp simp, but to knock them out it's a bit harsh. Can't they just sit on the chair, as it is said in the game title?
Otherwise I cannot say anything more what the others already did. Great game, good design, good physics :)

I like these kind of puzzle games, the visuals are pretty good. Could have been better with some audio and a winning screen. I thought that lvl 4 bugged on me, but on second playthrough I had to realize there is no level 4.

I really enjoy these kind of puzzle platformers, and had a lot of fun
But please, don't Fu a Du...

Do you plan to add colorblind mode? :D
My highscore was only 7, but the game was pretty fun

I loved the visuals, but I really missed audio

Did I lose? Yes.
Did I enjoy it? Also yes

Really good for a first game. Keep up!

Short and sweet. I nailed it at my first try, so I'm not sure why some people are complaining about colliders. Or maybe I just got lucky. Anyway, nice work!

I am really bad at this game. Also when do I save a piko? They are clearly on the other side, and then some of them go boom... Otherwise it is a really creative really addictive game, I loved it :)

Well done. I agree with previous comments, with some indicators (HP Bar, missed flames) would be better, but hands down one of the best games I played so far during this jam (also I noticed that quit button does not work on windows version?)
Anyway great visuals, really good concept, I wish I would be able to play this through but due to a lack of time I cannot. Well done!

Hard to   get back to adadadad the normal world 123123123 after playing this   addictive adadadad game 123123123!
Great job! Loved it :)

Of course I'm that kind of player who does not read tutorials, but when I realized that the mana is charging with spinning, I funally understood and started to love the game! Really enjoyable!

Has a lot of potential. Loved it!

I love these kind of puzzle games. Really addictive and charming. My only issue is that there is no indicator, how many levels you already passed, otherwise I cannot find anything wrong with it. Great work!

Thank you for the feedback :)

About the music,  I wanted to have a really happy day theme, and a gloomy night theme with some tension with instrument changes, but same bpm, same melody... But I'm not a musician, and I wasted half a day trying to learn something, when I realized, that it is impossible. So I did what was the best for the jam: Downloaded a free music, and changed the pitch and volume during the night
But you are definitelly right, how you describe it and what was my intention as well could have worked better

Really addictive. Wish there was a mode with unlimited time :O

Needs some instructions, but really enjoyable! I loved it!

I LOVED the visuals. Too bad presonally I do not like these kind of strategy/city builder games, but that's only my bad taste...

Loved the extra hook pn the basic roulette game. The cheating mechanics works so well!

Thank you very much for the feedback :)
I'm happy you enjoyed it

I am flipping that darn coin for a week now, and yes... still some jumps are hard, but due to the trajectory predictor it can be calculated sometimes.
I just did not want to have too easy levels, then unfortunately I created really hard ones.Thank you for the feedback, if I come back to this idea, I'll go easier on the first levels at least ;)

What about Nick, the nickel? :)
But thank you very much! I have another ongoing project, but maybe later I'll polish this one

I mean, I definitely had a lot of fun. Great idea, great concept. Has this incremental feeling. I'm definitely going to get that Bingy Bong!
