ALthough game crushed every time I got pass level 2, but I enjoyed it, very polished game.
Hmm, thats not good. I have a favor to ask, if you played it from within the zip file, could you try extracting it, and then playing it, and tell me if it still crashes the same amount?
No I extracted from the zip then played.
Was jumpscared by the leaderboard and decided I needed to get at least one first place ranking of the time of writing.
Overall its a very solid game with the visuals being a standout part for me, though I noticed that the game tended to lag a fair bit on the larger levels which kinda messed up some of my aiming and shooting.
Other than just the lag its a very nice game, well done :)
Im happy the leaderboard did its job! And yeah, the game was very poorly optimized, so theres nothing wrong on your end, fully on my side, and i already am waiting for the jam to end so i can update the game files.
Really polished and fun game! The leaderboard was especially impressive, and the overall quality of the game was outstanding, particularly considering the time limit. Below is the best score I managed to get! The game did crash a few times, but that may have just been an issue with my machine. Great job!

Great graphics! Reminds me of a game I played a long time ago that I really can't remember anymore. Wish I could give this a 6/5 for the feeling it gave me.

Simple but super effective! The graphics and sound work great! The ranking system is really cool, and it's a lot of fun to work your way through the levels! I just had a crash on the 8th or 9th level, but other than that, it was a lot of fun!

It's pretty fun! I love how there's a leaderboard, and it feels pretty fun to speedrun!
Somehow, on my Windows build, the frame rate dropped significantly during the actual gameplay, which made controlling the bayblade very difficult. I still like this game tho!

WORTH downloading. 5 star kinda game, I especially love how the floor highlights when you travel across it! AND the leaderboard is perfect! I'm genuinely interested in beating everyone else's scores, give me a little bit more time and keep checking those scoreboards to see Timothy Shaper near the top

This was so incredibly good, Did I come through and get top 5 on almost every track.... Yes. I love seeing another beyblade game though and it was really fun to play. The mechanics were really balanced and overall great job!

I would prefer to have a web build so I could play without having to download! And a mobile version would be even nicer! That way I can play everywhere!!!

Oooooh, this is pretty good! It would be interesting for a mobile game, especially if we added full multiplayer with other players and did something like racing.
What I liked:
Style. I was particularly struck by the UI animations. And the 3D model of the spinner in the main menu. How did you do the motion blur?!
The 3D environment is minimalist but pleasant - the environment reacts to the player.
Gameplay. It's simple, but it's a competitive game, which adds a bit of excitement, albeit not very pronounced. Player movement is smooth.
What I didn't like:
No web build. I think the game would run well on the web if I lowered some settings.
Overall, great job!
i LOVE the detailed feedback. Glad you liked the ui and the main menu. I did it in blender, had to learn how to do it xD yes youre right, web build is much better, but when i tested it, it ran at 3 fps on the browser so for this jam i had not much choice i had to go with regular exe file xD Will work on it to improve it in the future. Cool game! The sound effects were really nice but I had a crashing problem on the third level, its sad as I can see the potential!!
Yep, thank you for the feedback! Crashing is a known issue that sadly i can only fix once the jam is over
Sickkk game! The beyblade's sound effects and the interactions are awesome and its so satisfying! The game unfortunately crashed on level 4 or 5 I think for me. The visuals are cleann and as mentioned, audio is satisfying! I would say it is kinda serious as well? xD. Overall, I had fun with this, great work!!

the Trail the bayblade leaves is super satisfying! the idea of the leaderboard is also very smart, i wish i considered it but congrates!
the two bugs i encountered were the bayblade disappearing and the leaderboard crashing the game, but that's totally okay considering this is a Jam entry and the important part is the idea!

Okay! for the bayblade disappearance, it was exactly as i moved from level 1 to level 2, so it was there in level 1, but not in level 2, the trail kept working tho!
I concluded the leaderboard is the reason the game is crashing because the leader board UI would appear, and right then is when the game stops running, probably some unhandled network problem or race condition! if you're welling to continue on this game past this jam then Good luck! it is quite the fun game.
Really sick game and take on the beyblade spinny games! Love that there are customization options, unfortunately on windows atleast the game crashed at every new level (after starting the game for the first time it crashed on level 2, then after restarting it crashed on level 3, so on and so forth). I really like how the walls / materials glow / interact with the beyblade. Awesome stuff!

This is very well done, although for some reason my game crashed multiple times.
