Fun game! I felt the incorporation of the mouse wheel was a really good idea. Though it was probably my mouse, but the mouse wheel was a little too sensitive and hard to control. I love the style! The audio and visuals fit really well. This is definitely a super serious game
It was a very fun little game! Very good job for your first game! My only complaint was that the player was a bit too fast, it would have been nice to maybe be able to hold in a mousebutton to brake or slow down the unicycle? Other than that I really liked it!
We know why game developper dont use wheel mouse to move characters... its sooooooo hard, i cannot go more than the fire ring :c
Took me 7 minutes, but I made it! Cool game. I think having an option to adjust mouse wheel sensitivity would've gone a long way. Aside from the sensitivity, I thought the movement was neat. Nice job!
The player's slipperiness makes this game very hard to master, but a really nice idea to use the mouse's wheel to spin the unicycle's wheel, i liked the visuals and audio too! it's just a too difficult and frustrating for me to enjoy.
My average work day, awesome
Good game, i liked how the mouse wheel controls the unicycle. Unfortunely i got stuck in the wheel on fire, poor Gink.
man this is hard but challenging in a good way, really good for your first game ever, you should keep making games
Fun take on the theme, using unusual periphery for a unicycle which is awkward to control in real life is a great idea, although different mousewheels can be quite different from each other.
Could benefit from some coyote time, but impressive for a first game!
Quite challenging but fun!
😭 I kept falling to the bottom. I was never really good at these brutal platformers.
Great work KeagantheHeathen! 🤡
This is your first game? My friend and I made our first game for this one too! I really like your art! Also i was raging at trying to get the clown higher up (in a good way). I hope you keep making games because this was short and sweet!
This is fantastic! I love everything about this idea. This is great for your first game! I'm a big pixel art fan and this game has a lovely cohesive art style. The music kicking in after the start section is great and the idle animation is so adorable, it makes waiting for platforms to return less frustrating. The jump sound is also amazing, very serious indeed.
There were a few awkward things like the platforms having collision on the side of them. I'm not sure if it was deliberate because I know this is an issue with the Godot default "one-way" setting.
Wonderful debut! I love Gink <3
Thank you so much!
Yeah the collisions on the platforms were giving me a headache lol. Couldn't quite get it to work without the one-way setting, but like you said, the one-way setting has it's own problems.
Wow, for a first attempt at pixel art, you smashed it! Keep it up :D
This could be an excellent ragebait game. Very creative idea!
The theme of spinning the scroll wheel just fits perfectly with the theme. Very difficult, I could only reach abit of the way but still incredibly cool.
Unique controls. Spinning the scroll wheel? great haha it fits the theme perfectly. I think the controls are quite hard and there should be checkpoint system. It felt like (only up or getting over it) type game. Liked the visuals, and audio.
This game has come a long way since I playtested it a couple days ago. I honestly love the controls, they are terrible in the best way.
Love the art but the controls are so hard. Made me a bit dizzy haha
This feels like something I would dream up while sick and remember for the rest of my life for no reason 10/10
