Played through your game on stream. I've attached the playthrough below if you want to go through it (vod timestamped to your game).
Overall nicely built and the voices for the customers are great. All the ingredients / potion making feel samey currently (which is fair enough for a jam game but if you want to expand on the game you'll likely have to make them feel distinct from each other somehow). Addition of the king as a final challenge was nice.
Thank you!
And yes currently the potion part feels repetitive ( cause its the same for all ) except the king one that takes time to reach
Thanks for the feedback and we'll be checking your vid
Great job on this submission! I had a lot of fun getting lost in making potions and exploring the caves - visually really awesome. Hope you guys explore this game idea further
Bit of feedback for me would be being able to lower the sensitivity of the camera/mouse. For me it was a bit fast which made me a little dizzy sometimes
Thanks!
And yes, the sensitivity will be decreased
Interesting and chilling game. Simple and straightforward. The visuals are done really well, especially the cave, the crystals, and the potion ingredients. It’s also very clear which materials you need to collect for each potion. I like the idea of being an alchemist running a store where all the customers are alien-like creatures. Good job overall, it definitely has potential to be expanded further.
Thank you a lot!
That's a good game. I liked the visuals of all the materials, especially crystals. Gameplay was really fun too. Good work!
Thanks so much for the feedback! We really wanted to make the environment eye-catching, especially the crystals. We added some effects to make them shine and stand out. Glad you had fun!
Hi
The game looked good.
3d elements were very well made.
I liked the subtly music and the shy sounding bell by the counter.
Well done team
Thanks!
And yes, the aliens didn't want to disturb you!
Funny idea, reminds me a bit moonlighter for the concept. Good job !
Thanks!
Moonlighter was definitely one of our references
Really interesting, the ambient was the winner for me here. It rlly looks like the game has pottential uppon adding some more mechanics around the gather stage!
My game is also this gather and craft for client style! Though we went for way different directions I find it nice to have found a a similar core loop
Thank you!
I'll be cheking your game later!
This game is one of my favorites within this game jam! I like how intuitive it is and then rushing in the cave to gather as much as possible to create potions feel cool! While the experience is short i can see potential with this gameplay at its core; maybe it could bring forth more narrative with each request changing based on the kind of potions you make. If i had to give advice on something, maybe you could try to make the cave less empty in terms of sound since there's not even your own footsteps in there. Great job!
Thank you!
Yes, the cave definitely need to feel more alive, not only in term of sound also some kind of animal/enemy
The cave has ambient sound but its way to low and still need more audios, and on the alien side yes, also like choosing which potions you want to sell on the day or other options, specific customers, ...
Thanks again for the feedback!
Very cool gameplay! i liked the visuals, the customers, the way you collect the ingredients for potions, it makes it very addicting to play. Good job on making the game!
Thanks for the kind words! We're glad you enjoyed our game :D
Awesome work on this game, I had a really fun time playing it! I love the aliens, they're really funny with the voicelines and how they keep ringing the bell. The crafting and collecting game loop is really well done and I like how both places are connected. Would love to see this expanded after the jam!
Thank you so much! It's nice to see people liking and trusting on our game !
What an incredible showcase of lighting and colorisation. Very nice crafting mechanic. Great job.
Thank you!
Even tho the lighting on the shop got killed by web gl so it'll be improved!
Nice looking and adventurous 3d world. Was very nice to see how you go from the shop to the "strange places" to get supplies and ultimately need to craft a cure for customers. Even though its such a small cave system, I almost got lost because of all the colorful things down there. Nicely done.
Thank you!
We wanted the player to really feel strange on the cave
Nice game!
Thanks!
This game has potential! Keep up the good work
Thank you!
neat
Thanks!
Damnnn The underground environment was just mindblowingly amazing. Great work on the visuals. Good game to play
Thank you!
We spent a lot of time on it so its nice seeing that people like it!
I really enjoyed playing it. You should make a full version with more crafting options, and have the potions actually brewed in a cauldron instead of just crafted by pressing a button. I also think that if you add a small town where you can sell the potions, it would become popular
Thank you a lot for the feedback!
We'll definetly keep that as an idea!
Cool game, would be good if I could progress by unlocking areas/diff kinds of potions/have some interaction in the potion crafting. Very Lets Game It Out vibes, you should be able to watch the aliens drink the potions and explode. Also cash.
-Moth & Crow
Thanks!
And yes, we didnt got enough time on the jam to do that but its on the plan !
Simple but very fun, and the underground area was beautiful!
Thanks!!
