I encountered a bit of an issue with mouse locking; it seemed to struggle at times, causing my cursor to escape the window and inadvertently click around my desktop. Additionally, the cheese puzzle was quite challenging due to the clouds' unusual collider and the lack of friction, which made navigating through them a bit frustrating. Ultimately, I found myself tossing the cheese directly into the fridge from its spawn point! It might be worth considering the use of a single Collider::cuboid encompassing all clouds in a platform for better results.
Love the Dali clocks! Fitting for the theme, and made for some good platforming.
It's a good start and outcome given the jam timeline. My only major recommendations are to dampen rotation of things being held and to allow restoring the fallen player near where they fell, to avoid replaying a lot of the level over with each error. And some more delays or more obvious changes for solving things like the (oh I get the pun now) puzzle that replaces three (?) things with one. Nice work!
Fun platformer! I was a little confused what to do with the wine at the ending stages but I eventually figured it out.
Couldn’t get past the cheese, but the game was very cute :) Appreciate how dropped items respawn!
I like how the level design made me think “oh, that’s what I have to do” several times.
The hardest part was jumping up the cloud staircase while carrying the cheese. Everything is rather slippery and the low FOV makes it hard to see where I’m putting my feet. A simple change that might help is to make picked up objects stay at the same height instead of moving up and down. It would also help if everything had more friction against the ground.
You have to tab out then click back to get the mouse to lock properly. Otherwise the game is unplayable.
I couldn't get past the cheese and gave up after maybe 5min of play time.
