Some pretty cool music here! And some decent jokes, too. I wanted to know more about this world!

It's impressive that you made a whole turn-based combat system; what would have made the combat more engaging would be a few special abilities, leading to some strategic choices.

Developer(+1)

With time constraint, I can’t really implement them, but maybe after the jam (or in other games). Thank you for the feedback!

I Am Completely In Love With The Music. I Would Love To Have A Copy Of The OST. I Was Genuinely Really Sad That There Was Not More. The 3D Blew Me Away.

Developer

Thank you! I had a lot of fun making all of the music, if you're still interested, here is the playlist OST Playlist.

I... am in love with this??? Like genuine shock and amazement when the battles started, the music was bitching too, I had a good laugh at the dialogues and dynamics, like, ye, simple, I loved this. God, I wish there was more.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Glad you really like it!

Talk about subverting expectations. This has the makings for a great parody game where everything goes wrong.

Developer

Thank you!

Very funny and with lot of personality, although sadly a bit short and with extremely basic combat

Developer

Thanks for the honest feedback. Yeah, I didn’t flesh out the combat because I focus a lot on the humor part, and I want the game to be as short as possible because we have, like, hundreds of game to review (also because of feedback from the previous jam).

Love the presentation! The dialogues are really fun too!

Thank you!

That's cool! It's like I played something close to Deltarune!

OMG this game is fantastic! Art style, sound design, writing are so on point. I would love to play a full release some day.

Developer

Thank you! No promise on a full release, though lol.

This was a fun experience, you really managed to create a lot and also add a lot of polish.

The art style started simple but everything was charming and really fit the vibe of the rest of the game. However, when it split into 3d it really elevated it and it felt like you had a really clear and strong deisgn theme for the game. You made what was there really work and the bits of extra added attention with all the vfx or unique perspectives or implementations really raised it even a step further.  I think it says a lot that you managed to pack so much personality into the ghosts!

The music was so effective. When i started i thought 'this is pretty cool, love the chip tunes' but when i continued playing it was the way you packaged everything together that really blew me away. the music transitions made some of the cutscenes really puncy and was super effective when the battle scene started.

Finally i wanted to say the writing and humour was a lot of fun. It didnt take itself too seriously and was very effective at setting the tone and giving the game an identity that the rest of the parts could work with.

I feel like this game was a masterclass in how to really wield differnt things to make something shine even when you have limited resources (like time in a game jam). the biggest downside was that i wanted more and it felt like it was a small part of a larger thing (which i guess it is), however im already impressed with how much you achieved for a game jam so i cant really ask for much more 😅.

Great job, well done!

Developer

Thank you! Your comment really made my day!

The writing style and the persona-like combat are very cool foundation pieces to what could be a really cool game. If this idea was expanded upon, I could see it being really awesome. Keep it up excited to see where this goes!

Developer

Thank you! Don’t know where this will go either, but we’ll see.

Haha! This was a real gem of a game! Although unfinished, I did thoroughly enjoy the writing and style! Would love to see a full release of some sort. Keep it up <3

Thank you!

If there were a charming category, this would get a 5/5 on that front! I really found this game to be both silly, charming, and subversive. Especially compared to what was shown in the itch.io screenshot previews! Honestly, even though it's clear some stuff had to get cut due to time, the writing is still very much on point. If anything, not having time led to an increase in the character, as it felt like the characters were also disappointed in the lack of content. But still, I loved it! Great Game!

Developer

Yeah, I tried to subvert player’s expectation in this one, even the unfinished game part was setup for that lol. Thank you!

Man, what a game with great humor, haha! I laughed so much at the 'I don't have dialogue' part, and the 2D to 3D transition was spectacular! I loved the music too. Congrats on the game!

Developer

Thank you! Glad you like it!

That transition from 2D to 3D was so smooth (I love how the beat dropped)!! I also laughed at multiple points. Overall the game was really great. If you continue working on it I would love to see more humorous mechanics for the battles

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Probably won’t continue working on it cause it’s more like a joke game I made for the jam, but yeah, I had a blast making it!

Nice Game Man

Thank you!

That was pretty goofy, but like really enjoyable and unique. The perspective change through me for a loop, though I don't know if we needed several unfinished parts jokes.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! Those parts are things that I know would’ve taken too much time to finished so I tried to set them up as a joke instead. I even make the song for them lol (cause it doesn’t take too much time)

This ghost with no dialogue… This incredible finale… This music… This humor… This… Ok I’ll stop now.

You have given us a wonderful experience, thank you very much!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your kind word! Glad you enjoy it!
