How does your game fit the theme?
Loop Dogg is all about staying in the flow and continuing the loop. Keep rhyming with the freshest bars, from a random selection of words, to stay rapping and achieve the highest score. Also, creating a literal loop from the word selection will help rid you of unwanted words. The bars never end until you mess up!

Great idea, it's like Parappa but you only can freestyle. For some reason it kept crashing for me after a few minutes consistently. Would love to see something like this in a more finished form, maybe with actual vocals for each word.
This was fun! Great art and gameplay. It was easier when I just clicked random words rather than trying to form something intelligible, but less fun. Since it is music-based, I would have upped the audio quality a bit. The hits worked, but the bass was a little too "sine-wave" to really slap like it needed to. Throw that down an 8ve or two and put something crunchier on top of it.

Great job! I definitely was not very good but still enjoyed it a lot. The art style is awesome and the idea is incredibly unique.

This is an excellent entry. I really like the strategy of the rhymes, even if it's not that hard to succeed after the first few lines (just like the real music industry). It has won in my books.
Very cool concept and art. I found that you could easily cheat the game by just clicking words though. Other than that, really well done!
Very original game play. But i would have love if the sample had more noticeable beat to count the 8 bar each time.
Once you figure out the mechanics, the game is very easy though. I got Loop Dogg status pretty early, and then waited for a looong time for it to fail a bunch of times. Some additional progressive mechanics might have helped. Very creative take on the theme though, enjoyed it!

This was a super interesting take on the theme. I struggled a bit with the controls (my natural inclination was to click and drag), but once I got in the flow of it I had a lot of fun! Good job.
This is probably one of the most creative games I've seen yet in the game jam - love the idea of forming an actual loop with the words did something, and felt like I was getting the hang of it eventually.
I definitely just started clicking around, but when I made an effort to actually find rhymes that word while clicking to the beat, it felt really fun and satisfying.
OK this get the perfect score. At first I loved the concept but found the gameplay kind of clunky but after some loops I started saying the world I was clicking in rythme saying complete nonsense on the beat making rhymes more and more. Unfortunately the game crashed on my broswer at 19300 score :'(
Amazing job ! I kinda felt like the lines were validating just a Beat too early but maybe it's because I tried to synchronise everything I was clicking while saying it xD Would love to the concept pushed further with lexical field you could choose from, the character saying the worl while clicking, or maybe make it so you only have to move the mouse and when the beats hits it validate the word under the mouse at this moment.
Anyway, very fun to play art and music are really nice too !
thanks for the feedback. a little more time on the project would have definitely solved a few of these issues but we got a little burnt out haha. thank you for seeing the vision though!
I suck with rhymes, but every once in a while I was able to make some good ones. Even if most of the time it just ended up being a jumble of random words. Also that dog is a chill guy cool game
I dig the radical art style! It took me a little bit to get the hang of what I needed to do, but you’ve put together something wonderful here, great job!
Nice game, i'm too slow for the speed of it but i had fun making some bars and the art is very cute
Great game! Interesting interpretation of the theme. I do think the bar system is a little unclear and it's easier to just get points by clicking as many words as possible.
I like the idea and want to form sentences that makes sense, but I'm too slow.

This is a unique idea I've haven't seen yet, its super cool. I'm probably just slow reading the actual thing but I keep randomly clicking the words to get points. it was really fun, keep up the great work :D
