Really cool game! The pen spinning alone impressed me but the merge tower defence and the keep the phone outta sight gameplay is really neat and adds good variety. Take on the theme is great and really creative! Visuals are nice, Audio is good. Lastly, getting expelled for losing at Raid: Clash Imperial is SUPER SERIOUS. Excellent Job!

Very impressive game! Cool pen spinning mechanic, I enjoyed smashing buttons to get my score higher. And I'm amazed at how you've managed to create another game within the game. Also, I just loved the writing and visual presentation; it all just blends in a nice way to create this sort of funny, whimsical atmosphere.

This game is phenomenal! The sounds broke after a while, and i managed to overflow the points lol, shows how much i enjoyed this one lol. Can't really complain about anything in this game, good job!

The most creative theme usage I have seen in this jam. I thought I could only lose because of the 3 strikes rule and the Imperial Clash gg end caught me off guard XDD Very good game with fun gameplay and nice music. Didn't really know how I was doing the tricks but I earned thousands of points. Felt like playing Mortal combat as a child again, spamming all the combo buttons hahaha. Good job!

Pretty fun and addictive game, I spun the pen until my wrist hurt and tried to fit as many fused heroes as I could into my team. I ended up with 258 million points after 17 minutes when I couldn't defend anymore because I had a bad overview of which heroes I still need to merge.

It was really fun! Jude was super friendly and helpful in walking me through the tutorial :D The multitasking mobile game was also entertaining, it’s really well-made!

Very cool very fun. I think it would be cool if there was a loud sound that played when you lose the mobile game which alerted the teacher and made you get caught rather than being expelled just because you lost the mobile game. Other than that 10/10.

That was so cool! Very original idea.

I have personally never been good at pencil spinning irl and I think that did kind of translate over to the game for me because I found it fairly challenging to focus on everything at once. But the implementation of the whole this as it is is very impressive! The phone game alone could've been an entry! (also the ''ow'' sound is very funny :P)

This is a very balanced game, though there's way to much going on to try and strategize anything, so I ended up just pressing random SHIFT + WASD buttons and getting points to reroll until I get expensive units, which I assume to be good because they're expensive. Still really cool idea of honing in my true gen alpha.
The airplane gunshot noise scared me so bad when it first happened I really don't think airplanes should be that heavy

What a cool game, loved the wittyness of Jude! Saw the hand animation on discord and was AMAZED when it turned out to be that + a tower defense :O I had trouble spending all my POINTS though, cause spinning was way to much fun. 5/5 in everything what can I say, great work!

Amazing game, very good idea and excellent implementation! Spinning the pencil is already satisfying and then there's this whole tower defense minigame, and the teacher mechanic just makes it better for inmersion. Great work!

Definitely the best game I played this jam, you did such an amazing job. The visuals, audio, gameplay, creativity, seriousness, EVERYTHING was top notch. The pen spinning and the phone gameplay both coincided and even the units you buy are spinning! What an amazing, amazing game you really knocked it out of the park! Wow, this game is criminally under-reviewed for how good it is. It's sooo creative and there's so much going on, when you introduced the phone it blew my mind - this is the true detenetion experience I guess (don't know, didn't have phones in my time at schools... come to think of it we didn't have detention as well :)) The presentation and audio is top notch! Whoever visits this page and is wondering whether it's worth a download - YES IT IS!

Also if you like pressing A and D you should try my game ;)

Super cool game! Makes me feel the very real stress of trying not to get caught doing everything you shouldn't in detention. The use of the keys on the left hand feels just like actually trying to spin the pen, combined with the mouse in place of the touchscreen to play the tower defense is great! It all just feels right.

i've always thought that it would be amazing if there was a game where i could pen spin n play tft btd6 all at the same time n now my dreams have come true

It’s a really cool game. I never would have imagined that spinning a pen could feel so cool. Plus, there’s even a tower defense mini-game inside this already great game. You created two games for a game jam. I truly appreciate the effort you put into this. Great job.

I remember seeing this in progress on the Discord! I used to be a middle school teacher who had to watch our version of detention a few times so this was slightly surreal. I loved just about everything about this game, though I wish the progression of pens was spaced out a bit more because I was able to snowball really quickly and there wasn't anything specific to shoot for after that except levelling up on the phone game forever, which isn't as involved if you have good towers. Really really great game!
