Of the rhythm games I've played for this jam this is the one that takes the "spinniness" to heart the most.

The controls were a bit unresponsive to me, though.  Sometimes the baton would move the opposite direction around the circle as I was expecting, sometimes it would even just get stuck in a narrow region and wouldn't want to spin out of it

Thank you!! Did you use the mouse or a controller? If you have a game pad connected it really messes with the mouse controls! If you don't that's also valid though, the mouse controls could use an upgrade.

I was playing mouse-only, but I was on my laptop with a USB mouse, could it have been thrown off by there being both a mouse and a trackpad?  I can try from my desktop later today and let you know if I have the same issue there.

I really like the concept of the game. The orbs feel satisfying to hit; however, maybe more of a percussive audio feedback for hitting them would be a nice touch. Simple game with good execution.

Fantastic concept! Merging a rhythm game with spinning mechanics is a great touch. The controls feel solid and it's a blast to play. Nice job <3

Really fun game and great take on the theme! Love the pulsing visuals when you hit something and really like the smooth spinning bits :)

Really fun to play, I really liked the idea  and the feel. I think that the mouse controls could use some work though

Played with a controller. Extremely cool concept, and played downloaded version, but it felt like there was some delay between the music and the balls. Still, amazing though.

I found it hard to play with the mouse, but it worked great with a controller. Very fun to hit a sequence of balls in a row. Tons of game juice. Well done!

Fun idea with a circular rhythm game! It is probably more intuitive on a controller.  Gets a bit repetitive.  Visuals feel very smooth!

You can play it, but not for too long, because the gameplay is repetitive. The visuals and audio are excellent.

Nice to see more rhythm games! The mouse controls felt a bit wonky, but the joystick ones were nice. And as much as I hate losing, that game over animation is so good...

This is a really good spin on the take and I enjoyed it! I appreciate the bpm/tempo setting because I'm not that good at rhythm games. The game was really satisfying with amazing music, sounds, and visual effects. Even the background turning red when damage is taken and the yellow circle around the closest ball make the game feel much better. One thing that could be added is a clearer health bar, and the inputs could also respond to mouse movements quicker, but other than that, this is a great game!

Nice little game, very juicy! Clearing a spin feels very satisfying. In principle, I prefer mouse over joystick inputs, but I wish the paddle would just point into the direction of the mouse instead of whatever it is doing right now -- I guess you wanted to enforce spinning a bit more? Feels a bit bad to lose to a rotating wave if you started a bit late, but I guess that's part of the game. Would be cool if I could see my final score somewhere after dying.

Super fun graphics, i liked the motion blur, the bouncing, and the impacts. but I was not able to get a very high score because the spinner would fall out of line of my mouse and I wouldn't be able to accurately hit the beats. Loved the design though! Fun lil game :)
