Wow, quite the game for a first-time Unity developer! It did obviously have a couple of bugs (naturally with jams games), but otherwise it was actually quite a fun experience, and I was surprised at the amount of mechanics there were. Also learning the movement was quite a nice experience. I ended up beating the whole thing, but I found that level 10 was noticeably harder than all the others as the timing felt a little random to actually succeed. Otherwise I quite enjoyed this. 5/5.

Nice game with cool music but a bit to hard for me...

This is a really great and unique take on spinning! I loved this platformer, tho I had such a hard time with level 4

A very good entry! The visuals are simple but I like them because they feel hand-made. The music is great! There are many games without a soundtrack or sound effects, so this felt refreshing. The mechanics were a bit wonky at times, but it didn't really bother me. It was kind of fitting for the frog even :) Overall a very good entry. Only feedback would be polish, but I think everyone could have used some more time to polish.

It's simple in premise but good execution. The visuals might look basic but i think it works with the theme you were aiming for, along with the audio. The first round of tutorial was a great addition. I think the controls can be optimized a little, or make it feel slightly more natural? I'm not sure how to put it honestly, maybe it just needs to be a bit more "heavy' or "weighty".  But otherwise good work!

Really good take on the theme. Some levels were really fun to complete but others felt a bit annoying/difficult. overall though I really enjoyed this and had a good time playing it.

Really cool take on the theme. The music was great, but I think a sound effect for swinging or completing a level would be great. I also felt like some levels could be easily cheesed, but that didn't really take away from the fun. This was a really good game! Good job!

Developer

Thanks! Yea I definitely needed to polish the levels a bit,  but glad you enjoyed it anyway :) Also there are sound effects, but maybe they were too quiet xd

Pretty good execution.

That's a really cool idea, along side a simple yet pretty art and pleasant sound and music in the background. Very solid game.

This was a really, really good game! I loved the music and the idea behind this. The spinning was fun whenever you released just right, a bit frustrating trying to catch the swing points tho. Whenever your camera is moving and the frog is bouncing around, those tiny points just aren't big enough to comfortably grab.

I loved the music, seriously. Even tho I felt like some SFX (like for the initial tongue grab) were missing, the music carried it to 5 stars for me.

Could've used some more polish, some areas felt janky to play and could be easily cheesed (although I think multiple solutions to a level is fun, but it should be intentional I think), and more animations.

All that being said, solid game especially after one week of learning Unity, this is great!

Developer

Thanks! Yea, I defo was missing some sound effects here and there, and totally agree with you about the levels being slightly janky lol

also REALLY glad you liked the music, hehe  :)

Challenging and enjoyable, while some parts of the levels can be cheesed with well timed clicks or movement most of the game is challenging, and is fun, level 10 was way more difficult that 11 for me, and releasing the click just in the right time felt incredible

Apparently we need to have a frog off as well! Just played another game with a frog and I had to yeet it around to gather points. I feel like your game as some PROPER yeeting gameplay and I love it! Great job!

This is a really fun take! I think the spin speed might be a bit too fast, but no major complaints otherwise. I really like how you combined mechanics - I would've loved to see the platforms show up more.

Great game! Level ten was atrocious. The controls were  a bit finnicky. But really good for a week in learning unity.

Developer

Thanks! Srry abt level 10, maybe I made it too difficult lol

Submitted

Very fun! Liked the idea, and the gameplay is very good! The controls are a little too sensitive tho in my opinion.

Love it! I like the idea of a frog spinning by his tongue lmao. controls are not the smoothest, but it did not take away from the enjoyment of it.

At one point I found a bug where the frog would be spinning around a grapple point but no tongue visual -- didn't affect the physics or mechanics tho, landed that swing just fine! Good job, keep going!
