Cool game, nice environment. Wish there were more puzzles.

Nice game!

Feel free to try our game too.

This is very Portal, with the lab theme, gun, elevator, robotic voice speaking to you, etc. But the actual puzzles are very distinct, which is neat.

The puzzles could have used some more polish, like audio/visual indicators of when a puzzle is finished, and also maybe an explanation of what the gun does in the room you get it from, had to accidentally hit the green button to figure that out...

The lab rotations are pretty cool, although you can softlock the game by falling into the gap when the floor rotates away and have to restart the game, and the animation is pretty slow

Overall, neat concept, would like to see more puzzles (and maybe a better connection to the ending? was kind of confused by switching from gas puzzles to some sort of lazery reactor thing that just blew up)

The idea behind the ending is that the puzzles were meant to fix that experiment, and the bugs were due to the time we had. Anyway, excuses aside, thanks for your feedback

Great game! It gives really good Portal vibes and the base mechanics for the puzzles are very neat. I would´ve loved for it to be longer :) Great job.

thank you so much

Really nice game with well done puzzles. One suggestion would be to add sensitivity settings, since the default one was too low even with my mouse DPI being 1600 which is decently high.

Too short but honestly? Still slapped

Really cool, love this sort of game! I got soft-locked in the rotating room but besides that I didn't have any issues thankfully! Super nice atmosphere as well, would love to play more levels if added! Cheers B)

We couldn't do much more in 7 days, but after the jam we plan to fix all of this :)

Loved the atmosphere, the chinematics reminded me of Subnautica's, didn't understand how I got the pistolbut I got it. I didn't also get how I solved the last level with the tube that can alternate from blue or orange gas as I thought I had to mix them like the first level.
Overall had a really good experience and the scene at the end was really epic.
Well done!

I love this portal-like game, I like how the puzzles gradually increase in difficulty. I've really enjoyed it; I wish there were more levels, It felt too short, but I see you're a team of two, and you've done a fantastic job in just seven days!! Congrats!!

Nice Portal-like atmosphere. The level design in the introduction scene is smooth and works really well. The core mechanic has clear potential, it’s just a bit of a shame we don’t get to see it explored more.

Small bug on the Windows version in 2K resolution: the intro and ending layouts don’t fully fit the screen.

This is a nice portal-inspired puzzle game!  I think the gas mechanic has a lot of potential, I wish there were more levels haha.  Here's some feedback!

Things I really enjoyed:

- The atmosphere build-up from the beginning and ending "scripted" sections of the game is great. The robot voice also adds a lot imo; I think this is the first game jam game I've played that has genuine voice audio for dialogue!

- I liked the ingenuity of the puzzles. I think there's a ton of potential with that rotating room section mechanic + gas tubes to create a lot of interesting puzzles / solutions.

- A lot of things in the game have audio, which is great! I think the ending 'cutscene song' especially is awesome, really ramped up the intensity.

Things that could use some work:

- The audio in the game is great, but it sounds like there's a lot of clipping and volume normalization issues (i got jumpscared by that menu music, but then had to turn the volume back up once the game started because I couldn't hear the voice haha). I would tune up music / sfx using free software like Audacity to get it sounding crisper!

- I ran into a couple frustrating softlocks in both levels (mostly due to the rotating wall mechanic). I think having a way to "restart" each level at the beginning would help tremendously with this.

- I wish there was some indicator (like a sfx beep) that told me when I finished each level. During the second level, I mistakenly thought I had more to do after finishing it, but then realized after a couple mins the door was already open.

- Not important, but I noticed the ending logo screen doesn't cover the entire screen xD

Overall a fun game!! I would be super interested in seeing what kind of puzzles you guys can cook up with that gas mechanic, if you decide to keep working on the game.

Well, that was a nice atmospheric game. I don't think any thought went into the gameplay for this game. Also, players do have the ability to get softlock, which was annoying to restart the game. Yet all other aspects were nice

cool atmosphere, reminds me a lot of Portal, and you drove that feeling home nicely with the robotic voice acting :) well done

and I really liked the rotation on the lab parts, it felt very mechanic and real

took me a little while to notice the gun, but besides that it was a fun puzzle game!

Developer

Thank you so much, really

Solid entry! I didn’t face any issues in the WebGL build. The spinning wall was a nice surprise, and the ending was cool. I’d switch the gun to the right hand personally. 😄

Developer

Thank you for your opinion, it is greatly appreciated

I like the aesthetic and the narration! Reminded me of portal. I enjoyed doing the puzzles.

One thing I noticed was some collision box issues when going up the elevator. I was kinda jittering up and down as if I drank too much coffee in the morning.

It would've been awesome to see more puzzles as well.

Overall, great job on the game! I enjoyed it.

Developer

That can be solved by anchoring the height to the elevator. Also, thank you so much for your opinion, you've made my day :) there will probably be an update with more puzzles after the jam 7w7

Neat concept. It took me a bit to realize the gun for was pushing buttons. I thought I needed to use it to break the glass, and that the laser was just for aiming :P The voice acting is a nice touch.

Developer

thanks a lot

Good game, I've spent around 20 minutes playing it non-stop :) I love the voice acting, you don't see it regularly on jams.

Good to mention, that in order to play game like that, that have extensive usage of 3d meshes and shaders, and quite a few objects, it always beneficial to turn on hardware acceleration setting in your browser, which will allow for smoother performance, as it will distribute necessary hardware resources for game processing. Was bitten by it quite a few times when had it turned off.

Good job, for such a short term!

Developer

Thank you so much, you've made my day!

A very atmospheric and cool game!

Thank you so much :)

I see the comments, but I didn't experience neither lag nor bugs and also find this game to be very cool and I like  the idea. Puzzles are creative, having a Cursor Weapon is nice.

Submitted(+1)

Great puzzle game!
It’s a bit laggy, but I assume that’s because I’m playing the web version. Although it’s a bit short, the levels that are there are what count!

Developer

That's strange, I tried it on a 2019 phone and it worked well

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, it only happened when I was in the elevator and in the ending scene. Not something that really affects the gameplay but something to keep in mind if you were to ever expand on it.
