We were in MOA just last Sunday and we kinda missed checking out "Jaejoong's tree" xD oh well...
Happy 10 years since we saw you DBSK. Still regretting not getting to see everyone in one concert. And that will stick with me for the rest of my life.
made the clothes for babie yunbear for our gift for Jaejoong
November:
Learned about a shocking news about my kuya... good or bad...
Leehom on MAMA
Turned a year older
December:
got my still unnamed HTC One X+
missed Tagaytay this year since my dad can't handle the long drive and the cold weather :(
(making this list is starting to get harder since I don't post here that much anymore. Having twitter isn't helping either... they don't make it easy to search your own posts :()
Lee Minho came to visit the Philippines last week. Got crazy enough to go stalk his hotel (and no luck there for me... oh my money) but I still got to see him up close (although I felt like my eyes are deceiving me and I felt soooo far away)
So just wrote this for me to remember that day, November 17, 2012 Crustasia at Powerplant Mall. I got to see him for a few seconds (split second?) on his way to the car.
It felt like it wasn't enough but who's to complain. I should be thankful I was even there.
City Hunter............ yeah that's him... really hard to spot him from the crowd. Really hard to actually find him in the hotel. They guarded his route so well we didn't get a chance to see him go back and leave the hotel last Saturday.
We didn't see him leave the hotel for his mall tours. Although we had a feeling we were somewhat the cause of his delay (hahaha sneaky sneaky)
I learned a lot from this short "trip". It was a little bit expensive but it's the experience that matters. Next time, we'll be more knowledgeable and know better where/how/what they'll do and how we'll be able to follow them.
before the concert, we went out to shop at the popular outlet shopping area. got myself a pair of boots and some shirts for friends. went to the supermarket and found myself my favorite thin pocky
we then headed back to prepare for the concert
apparently the venue there is so organized that they let people in at almost 8pm when the concert was scheduled to start at 8:15... we went a bit early (actually.. late from what we thought) and just hung outside and took pictures.
we got in and realized how close we were to the stage...
took a few pictures.. saw fong then the concert started
O_O it's him...... i haven't seen him for years... and the last time was in the same country!
awesome show. he saw us during the fans shout out! everyone but me got to hold his hand when he went to the side. mehhh just not my time
So ate chin lost her passport the day before. We had to go to the police station and report that she lost it. We then went to the Philippine Consulate to check on how to get a replacement. They got a call at the hotel that the passport was found and at the police station.
Before going to the police station, we picked up the LED sign we'll use for the concert. It was really a long walk from the station (could have had a shorter one if we went down another station) After that long side trip, we went to HK island to visit the police station........ and we went to the wrong station. We walked some more then found the police station. After ate chin got her passport, we went on our way to Disneyland.
Did my Disney stuff shopping... watched the fireworks and we headed back.
We met up with Linus and got the tickets for the concert...
We left Manila at around past 8am. We arrived in Hong Kong past 10am.
First time I got to ride the airport express. It was pretty quick and comfy. We arrived at Kowloon station and looked for the free shuttle to a hotel near our hotel.
We had lunch at Ippudo (that ramen place we went to in Japan) love the ramen! but still not the same as in Japan
then after, headed our way to Mongkok to do the number one thing on my to do list: buy that Japanese Cobalt Blue 3DS I also got Project Mirai as my new game
Then headed to iSquare and dropped by HMV got xxxx pesos worth of CDs... then Log-on.. got a Panda Instax camera We had dinner at Cafe de Coral
Met up with the homies and then had their dinner at mcdo
Went back to the hotel and discovered ate chin lost her passport.
Just me and my kuya left in HK. I thought I would be having a nice morning for shopping and a dinner date with the fanclub heads before the last concert but it turned out it was almost a whole day of just fangirling.
After a quick walk around the area, rested a bit, I was picked up by the fanclub heads at the hotel and walked our way to the restaurant where we were eating lunch.
Food was good.. company was good but I encountered a slight language barrier (oh blame me for not knowing a lot of Mandarin) so there. whenever food was brought in, everyone will take their turn taking a picture of the food haha!
After lunch, they told me that they were going to wait for Leehom to do his prayer ritual just outside the backstage entrance. So I decided that I should go (instead of the initial plan of just doing more shopping).
We dropped by Leehom's hotel first since the Korean fans were staying there. We rode with kheng long in the bus service on the way there. (too bad it wasn't brendan)
After resting for a bit, we then went out to the backstage entrance and waited...... I set up my camera (this was a rare opportunity)... after what seemed like a long long time (well it was long), he finally arrived. the staff were motioning to us that we can't take pictures (TT____TT) oh well.. at least i got a few shots of their table setup. so there.. after he did his prayers, he waved at us (that was the chance.. didn't take it) and went in.
i realized i left my concert ticket (!!!!! why?!) and headed back to the hotel to get them. had dinner with my kuya (i almost forgot the LED sign) and then headed back to the coliseum.
got to the venue early again... so i just waited for them to open the gates.
got in.. prepared my stuff and waited. friends came in and the concert started
I had my camera prepared already so I just kept shooting. while....... holding our PHILIPPINES LED sign.
mid concert, the light started to get dim and we were worried that it cant be read that much anymore. thank goodness my friend had some extra batteries (although they still weren't enough)...
jackie chan came on stage (surprise surprise) they sung the song from little big soldier... so much energy! so fun
fan shoutouts.. he saw me again (whew... didn't get a video though :() well more like saw my lens.. i was busy trying to take a pic of him looking at the sign/lens
.....more songs, more fan requests
oh and they finally shot the "i love you" video with jackie chan.. i was there in the video.. but you just can't see it much since the sign was already a bit dim and i was surrounded by white light signs... they're too bright
.......and the concert was over TT______TT
met up with fong again outside the venue.. talked for a bit and then i decided to head back to the hotel
what an amazing experience...
my camera finally captured leehom! the lens was so worth it! and the feeling of traveling to and from the venue alone was kinda relaxing? or the feeling of just being free? i dunno..
