another time, i wrote a very long fanfic called The Book of Red Murder, about my oc Morgan going through Nemesis. it’s currently on hiatus, but it will be coming back eventually!! Reading it is probably the most thorough way to learn about my vast menagerie of fallen london ocs

It's not going to be in the text of book of red murder but it is important to know that after hepsi is able to leave parabola once clara is safe there, she is going to show up in morgan's house wounded and with nothing besides the clothes on her back in the middle of the night. and they are going to run out in the middle of the night to try to find her a nightgown. and they ARE going to have to go to the parlor of virture and get a very low cut one for an exponential markup because where else are they going to find women's intimates for a hugely busty fat lady at 3am before she finishes bathing. and they ARE going to be teased about it for the next the rest of their life

oc: hepsibah brewster oc: morgan fletcher morgan runs to the parlor of virtue and is like “do you have any underwear for a stout woman that i can purchase???” and theyre like “sure we can do that. did you want it to be used?” and Morgan's so aghast like they're not the guy frantically asking for womens underwear at 3 am clutching their pearls. all scandalized like they somehow didnt realize theyre in a brothel and then everyone at home is gonna tease them about buying the girl they have a crush on very sexy underwear their life is a constant humiliation ritual

Now that i'm fully back in the building with fallen london (but not totally ready to dive into the post-ambition storylines yet, because i want my old account to be availible to train my baby monster hunter account), i fell back into my old grind of cooking at station 8. I don't know what a normal number of meals served is for other players, but hepsi has 809, solely because it's so in-character for her. She's the cook! She is cooking!!!!! Sometimes she has to go get ingredence but solely to fuel the power of COOKING!!!!!!!! The powerful story of a nearly middle aged woman who was trying to escape the bonds of motherhood for her own survival only to get tangled up saving a vulnerable pregnant woman and also becoming a parent AGAIN and being ACTIVELY HUNTED FOR SPORT FOR A LONG TIME finally getting to be done with that and pursue her hobby of MAKING A LOT OF SOUP & CHARCUTERIE PLATTERS

thats my WIFE. well its morgans wife but still anyway copying prev's tags: i think it's soooo funny that i've seen so many people be like my light fingers pc was really selfish and focused on themself but the hybrid made them learn to care about another person and with hepsi. it was more that she really wanted to Be Done With parenthood but ultimately couldn't escape it she wanted to stop.sacrificing her whole.life for her kid before it killed her and then got KILLED MULTIPLE TIMES for clara's baby and she has some.extremely ambivalent feelings about all her children deep down even though she cares dutifully for them the guilt is still very real for her and sometimes she says things about the futility of parenthood that upset her co-parents she'a going to come off like a real asshole when morgan's trying to figure out what to do with [redacted] and everyones like 'morgan she has trauma' and they're like 'i KNOW but that doesn't mean she should say our kid might attempt suicide!' and they are right. she shouldn't say that to them. that's fucked up. (also it is canon that hepsi cares more about clara than the bug baby. clara was the better parent in the situation) (she woulda killed that thing with hammers if there wasn't a way for clara to survive the pregnancy)
