Shit, I seriously haven't posted since June?

Well, I've been busy. I'm working more-or-less full-time now - I got a job at an Optician's. It's significantly less annoying than most retail jobs I've had. The weather's gone from wet-and-dismal to hot-and-muggy, and the zoo got penguins, including one that waits for people to lean in and take her picture and then flips a wing to splash them. My niece is getting on for eight months old and can pick up her pacifier and put it in her own mouth now. They're trying to start her on solids but so far that's been more messy than anything else. There's a brass band competition going on in the city this week and one of the bands in question likes to practise across the street from my house at ungodly hours of the morning, so if you read about some fat chick in western Canada going on an early-morning shooting spree, that was probably me. SimCity has devoured my spare time and Farmville has dinosaurs now.

I'm getting worried about my comic. I keep wandering off to worldbuild and I never anticipated the first storyline would last this long... I have this whole immensely complex arc with Rooch and Borrowers and Yrek's missing parents and I don't know if I can...

I really really want to take this certificate program at Columbia but it’s so expensive and I don’t have a lot of money and I’m trying to find a job but I’m worried I won’t be able to I mean I tried all last summer and ended up still working at a clothing shop where I’m still working now and what if I do get in but it turns out I’m just too dumb and god I’m wasting my life writing drabbles on Tumblr and playing facebook games and I don’t know what to do with myself next and oh god what is wrong with me aren’t I supposed to be an adult?

Every time I manage to fight off a panic attack, I feel awful the rest of the day, because it just proves to me that it really is all in my head, and I really could just throw the pills away if I weren’t such a weak, attention-whoring, manipulative bitch.

The post office's Customer Service Help Line is sort of a rat maze with no cheese in it. It's like Portal, only not only do you not get any cake, you don't even get to blow up the fucking machine voice that kept lying about the cake. You're still left a hollow shell of a human being in need of grief counselling, though.

Was real sick for a couple of days.

Did some knitting.

Also Portal. Insane amounts of Portal.

That's about it.

So it's April First. Usually I have a joke for you guys, but... I'm having a crappy year, my schools rejected me, I didn't get promoted, I have writer's block, I got attacked by a dog, and this morning I woke up and found I apparently had my entire period in my sleep. There will be no joke this year. I feel like hell.

Today I got attacked by a fucking poodle.
