Jeeze I'm beat... sore and exhausted; distracted as hell. (all in all it's better than yesterday though; I even remember what congruent means!) Pan's Labyrinth was okay but not great; which is, you know, disappointing to say the least. And the theater fucked up TWICE; once with the film breaking (um, wtf?!) and once with playing the fucking promos over the CLIMAX of the film (once more, with feeling!:QWTF?!)there was talk about possibly "liking it more today" but I remain ambivilant. I might even like it less. I feel like they gave away all the cool stuff in the trailer (and how often does *that* happen in a fantasy movie?! "cool stuff" must have been pretty limited) I guess it was a sad shell of a story I would like to see told well. Doesn't matter though, I had an awesome time with rayan4d2 and mgrasso, although I was quite sad that poor ultra_lilac was too sick to join us.

Today is a "down time" day. a much needed down time day. Bill and I will be putting in some old fashioned QT with teh dog. And writing. That's my plan. I have some things I should write about.
Friday? nothing either... did people want to do something? I do need to pick up grab gifts for Hockabout 2nd christmas... *thinks* I'll have to come up with something.
Saturdayz: Pub crawl!
Sunday: 2nd Christmas.
Monday: Nothings
Tuesday: Teen Justice? yes? no? maybe?
Wednesday: Promethean!
Thursday: Untitled Talking Mouse Project(UTMP) session zero!
Friday: Nothings
Saturday: Nothings
Sunday: Nothings

I would love to fill up those next weekend nothings... with something. Anything. Maybe not all of them; one perhaps? Perhaps two? perhaps. Any thoughts?
Also; DA: Fae sometime soon mgrasso? You know, sometime before wedding #1? Possibly? Please?
Also; rayan4d2 when are you gonna start talking about *your* games again? damnit! I want to play Raji, Pekoh or Mida, and poor ronokki needs to game!

Next week is pretty open as it stands.

I thought I had more to say... hmm...

The Pillowman was truely amazing... truely.  Can I say life altering?   Maybe I can :)

It's like the play was written for me-- Dark fairy tales, police interrogations, seething wit and uncompromising sadness.

It makes me want to run changeling.

And meet the writer.

I'm so glad you asked.

My mother tells me that my brother needs an extra chaperone for a field trip to the aquarium. I think,"The aquarium, fun! I haven't been there for ages and ages!" and my brother's teacher Is my mentor teacher, Mike Coates, just about the most wonderful man I've ever known ::Glee!!!:: even better. Anyway, sign me up! So that day, I'm dressed in sandals, but longish pants, it's dern hot out... and I get on the bus, and am sitting next to Mike, and he hands me the itinerary. We aren't going to the aquarium at all, we're going to see a show at the new IMAX at the aquarium-- but first we're going on a three hour tour of the fish processing plant... WHAT?!? How did the signals get crossed there? I spent all day with a wonky stomach, wet feet, trudging in fish guts! The worst part was when the man showing us all the different kinds of fish said "the best way to pick the big 'ns up is by their eyes" and then proceeded to poke the fish eyes back into its skull by two fingers. ::ewwww:: anyway, the wonky stomach feeling never totally went away. It was always there either from the fish situation, the 3-d presentation on the Imax (tripy with glasses, dizzying without), or my school girl pseudo crush on Mike.
