Now for something totally different

Because everyone's posting old books, I naturally had to break the trend. XD

Today my family made our very first gingerbread house. It wasn't anything really special, the gingerbread sheets and stuff were already baked and in the right shapes, we just had to mix the icing, assemble it, and decorate. Well, it turned out to be much harder than expected. I'll just say that next year we're icing the roof before putting it on the house.

(no subject)

We should make this an old books community.

Uh, because I'm a tard, I forgot to write down the dates for these books, except one. And I'm out of town, so I can't check. However I just spent a while editing these, so I'm posting them anyway! I'll come back and edit with dates when I'm home. I know they were all published before 1920.



I didn't end up going into much detail about these, since there's so many of them, and I took a lot of pictures. So, enjoy them visually anyway. 8D
