So this RP is pretty much dead and gone now right?  No one really posts here...no one's thrown any ideas for threads or storylines...no interest show...

Just asking so I know whether or not I should keep this in my bookmarks.

So, I've been away for a long while. I come back and there's new people to play with! [waves at the new people]. I'm going to spend today getting caught up on all the lovely things I've missed and then I'll see where I can toss in a Jayne. Hope ya'll don't mind a little mayhem!

Hi, all.

I'll be posting my starter soon and tagging Shara.

I'm not sure when we'll be able to get me on board, but in the meantime Shara and I will be talking on the comm. We may be stretching the limits of how far the communicators will go, but we need to fudge it a little so that we can make the SL work. *chuckles*

I'm also working on a bio to post.

For those of you who haven't seen on Twitter, I'm having some family issues going on right now and I'm not in the right head space for much of anything at the moment. My mom is currently in the hospital and I'm still waiting on information about what all is wrong with her. So for the time being, act as if Jayne is on the ship and around, even if you don't see him for a while. I've made empath_peter and sharatheorion moderators. They should be able to handle adding new players and dealing with questions until I get back. I will still be on my Twitter account @StarxEyedxQueen. If you absolutely need me, poke me there and I'll get to you as soon as possible. Thanks for your support and understanding.

I've been away from my computer all day and I just want to say how thrilled I am to have the crew I have. I'm very sorry to see some of our team go and they will be missed but to you who stayed, let me stop to give you all a HUGE round of applause. Because of you we have a continued storyline, we have a brand new Mal (capnshiny) and we have some ideas in the works for more! I couldn't have asked to be mod of a better crew.

A few points I'd like to make: One, I've been the mostly silent mod of the group since it resurfaced. This has needed to change for a while now and no time like the present.  If you need anything, have questions, have ideas, whatever, the very best way to reach me is to DM or @ me on my mun Twitter account: @StarxEyedxQueen. I check it daily, almost religiously. As mentioned earlier tonight, I will be making a new Twitter account for Jayne since @ManCalledJayne_ has jumped ship and joined a different group. Once I do I'll post it on my main account and you can message me there as well.

Two, I want to officially welcome capnshiny to the group. You come highly recommended and I honestly cannot wait to see what you bring to the game. I saw mention of a few of the other characters and yes, I am in talks for a Book (Our old Twitter Book, actually) and if I can't get them I have another idea for the spot. I'm also talking to someone about possibly being Zoe. I have a few ideas for characters I'd like to see for future stories, i.e. Badger, Fanty and Mingo, possibly a Dobson's revenge story, but for now I'm only focusing on those two. If you know of anyone who would like to join, feel free to let me know.

Three: We're only limited by our imagination and mine is vast and frightening at times. I don't want anyone to feel they are obligated to play a Firefly character simply because it's a Firefly universe. If there is a compelling enough reason for their arrival in the 'verse, be it transporter malfunction, random rift activity, or their TARDIS blew off course, whatever, I'll be more than glad to add them to the ranks. That goes for OCs as well. Also, if you think you can handle it and you got the muse to spare, I'm not limiting anyone to playing just one role. You want another character, more the merrier!

Point to all this is, I want us to have fun, I want to enjoy coming here as much as you guys do, and I want some great stories. The kind I know you all can do. Thank you, all of you, for everything you've done, and everything I know we'll do together. You do this ol' merc proud.

Okay, I'm sorry to see people leaving, but RL comes first. I understand. 

However, I don't want to see this game die off. I'm enjoying it.

I may have someone who can take Mal's role. I'll ask.

We also need another bad guy. I may be able to cover that, too. Not a Sylar, but we could revamp the game some. Instead of having the Sylar SL come into play, we could simply continue from where the jailbreak thread leaves off: Everyone is running back to Serenity, we take off in the nick of time, etc. 

Once in the air, we can do some character development type stuff (convos between characters on the ship) while we decide what kind of bad guy(s) we're going to come up against.
