The Privacy Policy governs the collection, usage, and sharing of private information provided by the user to Intervue.
Intervue gives importance to your data. We are committed to providing you with all information related to how we use your data. Any user availing services provided by Intervue must agree to its Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy as mentioned in this document.

Information Collected by Intervue

Personal Information

Intervue collects the following personal information:
  • Email ID
  • User Name
  • Company Name
  • Resume

Non-Personal Information

Intervue collects the following non-personal information:
  • IP Address
  • Usage Details
In the event of combining personal and non-personal information, both will be treated as personal information.

User

Any person visiting Intervue.io is considered a user. The following agreement is between the user and Intervue.io. This agreement governs the terms and conditions of usage of Intervue.io services, including the website.
Intervue reserves the right to make necessary changes to the agreement without prior notice to the user. In case of updates to the agreement, the user will be notified through the website only.
Intervue considers that the user agrees to the terms and conditions. Intervue can terminate the user from using Intervue.io without any further notice if the user violates any terms and conditions mentioned in this document.
The user must not:
  • Sell, resell, license, sublicense, distribute, redistribute, rent, or lease the services offered by Intervue.io
  • Use the logo, trademark, and other proprietary assets used by Intervue.io
  • Use the data mentioned on Intervue.io for fraudulent purposes

User Registration or Login

The user should be registered on Intervue.io under a unique email ID in order to avail services including, but not limited to:
  • Interview creation
  • Team creation
  • Adding card details
The user is not allowed to create more than one account using the same email ID.

Personal Information

The user must provide their username, email ID, and password to create an account or an interview.
The user must enter their username while creating an interview.

Terms of Using Scratch Pad

Scratch Pad is used to run or compile code written by the user. The username should be entered by the user before using Scratch Pad.
The user cannot create more interviews than available in their plan.
Scratch Pad cannot be used for purposes that violate this agreement. Writing any code that misuses or affects Intervue services is strictly against the terms mentioned in this document.
The user should not reverse engineer Scratch Pad to extract source code or other sensitive details.

Subscription to a Plan

The user can subscribe to a plan by choosing the appropriate plan from:
  • Video-calling
  • Personal
  • Small
  • Business
The user should enter their card details and pay the amount corresponding to the selected plan in order to start using it.
The user cannot use the plan without paying for it. The fee for a plan will be auto-debited every month from the card entered by the user in the profile section under the billing tab.

Upgrading or Downgrading a Plan

The user can upgrade or downgrade a plan, and their usage will be constrained by the services mentioned in the selected plan.
Subscription details of the user will be updated once they upgrade or downgrade a plan.
The user cannot use the account if they remove their card from the account and their subscription end date has passed.
Previous interview count will be added to the new plan if the user upgrades the plan.
Previous interview count will not be added to the new plan if the user downgrades the plan.

Refund

The user can contact the Intervue team to apply for a refund. Refund terms are governed by Intervue.io Terms and Conditions, policies, and usage by the user.
Refunds can take up to a few business days as per Stripe policies.

Legal Disputes and Liabilities

The courts of India have sole and exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any legal dispute or conflict between Intervue and its users arising from the services of Intervue.
The user must pay Intervue's attorney fees and bear the cost of legal proceedings relating to this agreement, including appeals.

Terms for Adding Card Information

The user should add correct card details in the billing section of their profile on Intervue.io.
If a card expires or no longer exists, the user must update their card details to continue using the services once the subscription end date has passed for which the user has already paid.
User card details are stored with Stripe and not with Intervue.io for security purposes.

Third-Party Links

Intervue has no control over third-party websites whose links are embedded in Intervue.io.
Users are advised to read the terms and conditions of other websites.

Cookies

Intervue uses cookies to collect non-identifiable information.
A cookie is a piece of data that a website can send to your browser. It is then saved on the computer in your browser to identify your computer.
Cookies are used by Intervue with the intent of giving users an enhanced experience.
In the event of any disagreement, the user has the right to suspend their account and not continue with services provided by Intervue.

Card Information

Your card information is stored with Stripe. We do not keep card-related data at our end to maintain security.

Google Sign In

Intervue uses Google's one-tap login and Login with Google flow to provide a seamless onboarding experience.
Intervue collects the following personal information from your Google account:
  • Email ID
  • User Name

Take Home Assignments

Intervue collects the following information about the candidate when they attempt a take home assignment:
  • Webcam screenshots
  • Email ID
The intended purpose of the above information is to provide a report to the employer for assessment.
The screenshots are saved on AWS S3 and secured with our data security policy.

Disclosure

Disclosure is not in scope of the engagement, and no such work is performed which requires data disclosure.

Data Retention

There are no limitations on the duration or size of data retention.
Data is stored for an indefinite time or as agreed in legal agreements.

Violations

Employees found violating policies around data security and governance would undergo trial, and disciplinary action would be taken against them.
