I'm sure this is one vague question, but a while back ago, I looked up Alice in Wonderland House DEcor, and some images of very modern looking Alice in Wonderland themed rooms, I just spend about 2 hrs trying to look for the same images, and no luck, can any of you guys suggest any links? The images I remember were very modern looking decor, with looks of mirror hanging on the wall. It used NON TRADITIONAL AWL colors ( red, black, white), but adhered to the theme regardless and made a modern interpretation of it. thanks.
Can anybody recommend books on contemporary architecture and contemporary design? I'm less interested in the history of the fields than I am in theory and pictures. I want lots of pictures. I can spend about 100 for 2-3 books (which I presume will be hardcover). I have a background in Western philosophy, literature, and 20thc theory (Lyotard, Foucault, Derrida, Bachelard, etc) Thanks.
Hi!
This is my first post here...
I hope that someone could help me.
I am a student of Interior Design graduating this summer. So i have to elaborate my diploma work. But I can't find suitable floor planings for making 3D interior. The main aspect of environment that I am going to develop are - two level (preferable but not essential) flat or loft ( all other things could be variable).
So the main things are - split or two level apartment or/and apartment in attic zone. Quite spacious.
And format of floor planning - all of sorts (not essential AutoCAD or other 3D; 2D type, they can be pdf. jpg. etc.)
So If anybody can help with advice or even better have some kind of this type floor planning - let me know! I'll be greateful!

Hello! I am a first time poster, but long time watcher of this community. I know that it is rarely posted to, so I hope someone can help me out on this.
I am about to start my last semester of my Interior Architecture program at University of Louisville, and for our final project, we need to find an existing location to design or re-design. I am requesting the help of anyone who owns a small business or property that you would like to contribute plans for to help me out, it would be most appreciated. All I need is your space, a small amount of your time, and your spacial needs/purposes Here are a few requirements of the space:
-must be a commercial space, not residential
-anywhere from 2000 to 8000-ish square feet
-if space is not already designated as something specific (office, retail, etc.), it would be helpful for "client" to create a real or fictional purpose for their space. For example, if you have the plans (preferably in CAD) for an existing space and it is currently not serving any purpose, you can inform me what you would like to accomplish in this space so i have something to work with
-I will need some contact (by email is fine) with the "client". This includes a brief interview of spacial/business needs, approval of design, etc. Frequency will be limited, as the most contact needed will be approval of electrical plans, ceiling plan, floor plan, etc.
You do not need to have a lot of design experience, just access to Autocad and a basic ability to read floor plans.
Location isn't important. If anyone is willing to help a future interiors graduate on this, it would most appreciative. It may be beneficial to you if you need interior design consultation on your space, as you can utilize my services and not have to pay for it! Your compensation to me will be helping me with my final project and helping me to further my education.
Thank you, and any information on where I could find help on this will be useful.
