Author's Notes: While I've strived to keep this relatively canon compliant, there are additions from Hermione's and Severus' perspective which begin in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that make this AU. JKR's epilogue is completely ignored in this story.
Original Prompt: I took ideas from #1 and #3, then tossed in a brief wave (or rude gesture) at a Ministry marriage law.
1) Hermione is a private eye (think Kinsey Millhone from Sue Grafton’s books). What kind of crime is Hermione investigating? Is Snape a suspect? An Auror? What does he think of Hermione investigating this crime?
3) Hermione volunteers at the Ministry Children's Wish Foundation arranging wishes. Hermione tries to arrange a wish for child with Severus Snape. What is Snape doing now? How does he react to the request?

Author's/Artist's Notes: Lyras provided wonderful prompts and it was hard to choose. In the end, several of her suggestions were used in creating this 'slice of life' featuring Molly and Arthur. While Lyras said that she didn't mind if the angst was piled on to them, I like to think of this as the two of them stepping in it without becoming buried.

Also present are consensual BDSM, minor bits of dubious consent, some vulgar language, and references to punishment, however Hermione is a strong character, who in no way resembles a doormat. The elements covered by the warning are easily spotted in case you'd like to avoid them and simply enjoy the rest of the story which has far more to do with growth than sex.
