Title: All Time Corrode (with constant hurt) Category: AU from the end of 5.22, gen, or squint-if-you-want slash Warnings: (highlight) language, torture, graphic stream of consciousness, grammar that has been murdered and then desecrated, and character death from old age Words: ~6800 Summary: Lucifer has found the cracks in the Cage, and once a year every year, he slips Sam through for a day of watching Dean.
AN: Title from Edgar Bower' The Stoic: For Laura Von Courten.
1) It's much harder to avoid character bashing and general fandom hate on Tumblr. Though they do have such pretty graphics there. (Can't people just love Martha Jones like she deserves?? And enough with the Betty hate, please and thank you.)
2) Mad Men and Game of Thrones all at once with new episodes one after another is this what heaven feels like.
3) Raster is right. Jon Snow is pretty indeed. Even prettier than Robb? (/cries forever, ROBB) Maybe I should finish reading Dance with Dragons. But I kind of don't want to...
4) Sansa and Tyrion, you break my heart forever and after.
5) Watched Game of Thrones premier with my brothers. Started actual fangirl flailing when Tyrion walked on screen, and I could not contain myself oh why oh why, and they judged me. And now, maybe they know. Maybe they found out. Maybe they know about my fangirling, oh life why.
6) Father of mine insisted on watching the Game of Thrones premier with us. So I spent the entire episode cringing in anticipation of HBO nonsense. AND THEN THERE WAS THAT PORN SCENE and there were not enough hands in the world to cover up my mortified face. Father of mine, why do you insist on watching the most awkward things possible with me.
7) PEGGY PEGGY PEGGY.
8) Dean, liver failure is terrifying and sad. Please stop.
9) Terrifying Japanese horror, you are horrifying.
10) I handed my two weeks notice in to the restaurant today. And I got that job I was hoping for, at this genetics research lab at my university!
11) I gave my friend proper Reichenfeels. I might even be able to entice her to watch a few amazing fanvids... Oh, I hope she sees that beauty... And doesn't make horrible fun of me.
Title: Turning of the Season Category: Gen Words: ~1900 Warnings: swearing, brief gorey imagery
Summary: Hell was louder and longer and brighter than the time Sam spent on earth. So Dean should have expected this--Sam is forgetting, piece by piece. Post 6.22 AU.
A/N: I set out to write something... and this is not it. So there's that. I'm not quite sure exactly what this is, so there's also that as well.
Watching Nightshifter. I think that's my favourite episode of the entire series. It's just so well done--Henriksen first shows his face, Sam is snarky, Dean is... quintessentially Dean, there is much badass fighting (especially when Sam takes out those two Swat peeps), and the ending makes me shiver. With that Styx song. When I first saw that episode, I was so full of excitement. I actually think that episode was the point at which I was the most invested in the show, not that I've become uninvested, mind. Or maybe that's a lie... but it sure was a high point. (Slash Fiction was another.) (And Born Under a Bad Sign.)
Please, show--just give me cops forever. To hound them, and make their jobs so hard again.
I don't know what the point of this post is. But I missed watching the series live until season 7 started airing. So I have much pent up squee over old episodes.
Summary: Written for this prompt on ohsam's comment fic meme: There are a few things you know about the new guy. He is unreasonably tall, his arms are in bandages, and he doesn't talk much. Which isn't a rare thing in the psych ward. There seems to be a constant balance in here between people who will talk your ear off, and those who have run out of words altogether. But you do know his name is Sammy. That's what his brother calls him when he brings him in, and then when he visits. Every day.
A/N: It’s got to be painfully obvious I’ve only ever been on the visitor’s side of the hospital. So please don’t be offended by any inaccuracies, or let me know so I can fix them? I don’t even know! Also, beware that this was written entirely during a particularly dull lunch hour. Beware!
I quite enjoyed this one. But I'm wondering why they've been sticking to MotW--no Leviathan stuff in what seems like a long time, especially counting the hiatus. But this episode was actually shockingly well done, and well constructed too. Also, SAM!
