Surprising. Akabane explores the edges of the room where Ginji lies asleep, no longer content to improve the edges of his scalpels, or to sit in silence. His blood has stirred at Kagami's earlier challenge. He could call it caution, but he has never been in the habit of lying to himself, and on this occasion he chooses to name it interest. He paces the room's boundaries, checking doors, and from time to time he glances back at the sleeping Ginji, alert for his awakening.
Go ahead and start RPing. ^^
The mists have died away now, but the blood that's splattered across the floor and smeared against the pillar still smells iron-fresh and bright.
Akabane has returned his scalpels to inside his body, and is watching the sleeping Ginji patiently, observing the rise and fall of Ginji's chest with a calm satisfaction, listening to the quick whisper of his breath.
The room is silent otherwise, and smaller than it seemed earlier, or perhaps a wall has fallen, or maybe something has simply -- shifted. In any case, they are separated for the others.
How interesting, he thinks, but he does not disturb the silence with his voice. Instead, he listens.
