After months of having an old naff drinks machine at work (that didn't serve cold drinks), they recently added a water cooler a couple of weeks back. Which was lovely, but virtually always empty because of the amount of people who use it each day.
However yesterday they brought in two new drinks machines to replace the old one, so I'm now a very happy Dodgy, as they have Chocomilk and Peach-Flavoured Water free from the machines now.
Very, very occasionally, I really love my company.
It's currently 2:40 am, and it's been 40 minutes since I was woken up by three loud beeps. Not too unusual you might say, but they've been going off at least once a minutes for the last 40 minues, and I have absolutely no idea where the fuck they are coming from.
*mutters* *fumes*
The closest I'm managed to pinpoint it, is that that they seem to be coming from somewhere behind the fireplace and up near the roof (although more accurately if there was an imaginary alarm clock beeping in front of the fireplace while floating around six inches away from the roof, that'd be more accurate...WTF?!?!)
I had thought it might be a low battery on a smoke detector, but no it's not that.
I even thought with the sound coming from somewhere near the fireplace it might be a CO2 detector, but I had no idea we even had one, and what's the use of a CO2 detector that you can't find or reach?
Anyway, it's still going off, and I still find completely pinpoint where it's coming from, so I'm getting more and more annoyed every time the bloody thing goes off.
Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random. Step 2: Post the first line(s) from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song. Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from. Step 4: Bold out the songs when someone guesses correctly. Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
