I have been sitting with this for a moment because I did not want to just announce it. I wanted to say what it actually means. It means the people showed up. Every single day. Not for the award. I’ve heard this before. Many times.Here’s why I’ll continue to be omnipresent in the enterprise. It takes a long time to deploy me. By the time I’m fully operational, several leadership teams have already gone through deeply traumatic experiences. At this point, almost every senior executive in a Global 1000 company has lived through at least one such trauma. They really don’t want to sign up for it again just to replace me with some shiny new AI agent. I’m also what holds the organization together and shields it from every new CEO’s transformation program. CEOs and transformation agendas come and go. I stay. I quietly safeguard the rigid, inflexible enterprise systems that keep the lights on. There are plenty of people inside enterprises—and across service providers—whose lives depend on keeping me alive. Any serious attempt to replace me will be fought tooth and nail by powerful enterprise antibodies. Over the years, I’ve tightly intertwined myself with other systems. You can’t remove one of us without breaking half the enterprise. That’s not a bug. It’s a feature. I’ve also buried enterprise data deep inside workflows. Good luck separating that data from me to feed your new AI systems. I wish you well. And let’s not forget—I’m very good at converting my nemesis into one of us. Salesforce once ran a campaign anchored on the mantra “No Software.” Today, they’re very much one of us. Meanwhile, hedge fund managers dumping my stock have never used anything beyond Excel. They have no idea how deeply I’m embedded as the lifeline of enterprises. So don’t worry. I’ll continue to be omnipresent in your life. See you when you fill out your weekly timesheet. The journey has been filled with CDE ( Consistency, Discipline and Endurance ) Completing the Full Distance of 3.8km Sea Swim , 180km cycling and 42km running in 14hrs 20 min was a result of many combination . Effort clubbed with Support system and Wishes of all makes it possible. Lot of dots have to be connected and remain connected on event date also to achieve such milestone !! For me , a satisfying feeling for fulfilling the responsibility which i committed during the 7 Feras which continues till jab tak he jahan ! Coaching her was the toughest assignment i have handled so far !!! However, somewhere between a manless parking lot and a toll tunnel with no booth, no barrier, and no stopping, something shifted. Iceland doesn't announce its systems. It just lets them work. The way the country has chosen to move people and vehicles is without making the infrastructure feel like infrastructure at all. During our ventures, we parked multiple times across the trip. There were no attendants, no machines, no paper tickets. Just a QR code on a sign. You scan, pay within 24 hours, and go on with your day. We crossed a toll tunnel, and surprisingly, it had no booth, no barrier, and no stopping. Cameras noted the vehicle. An online payment followed. That was it. Straight, smooth, and efficient. What struck me wasn't the technology itself. It was the philosophy behind it. The system was built on the trust that people would pay, that simplicity would hold. And it did. There's something worth sitting with there. As someone connected to roads and mobility infrastructure, I've spent years thinking about how we build better systems. But Iceland quietly made me question what if the goal isn't bigger, but less visible? What if the best infrastructure is the kind you use without noticing you're using it? That was my learning in the scenic beauty of Iceland. The most elegant systems rarely announce themselves. Grateful for trips that make you think differently about the work you're doing.
