+ A simple writing community based off the idea of a shared "source" but with as different outcomes as there are writers.
1. Someone posts a poem, quote, song lyric, picture, etc. (quote the source, of course). Then we, IN REPLY, give back an original piece that is inpired by it (post in comment to the post). You can either write something or post a picture, but everything should be your own original work.
2. Don't worry about how "great" or "perfect" it is, just have fun, and use it as another creative exercise. You may want to use it later and develop it into something even better for your own uses, but for this community just have fun.
3. Please leave stuffy critque for other communities. This one is meant to be laid back and for fun. A comma-splice or off centered crop shot never killed anyone. Relax and encourage others to just express themselves. (Those who mis-use or are heavy handed won't be tolerated and shouldn't be here in the first place.)
4. Look for sources everwhere. In your bookshelves, in your cd liner notes, random graphics on the web. Post it and see how everyone else responds creatively to what you "offer up" to them.
+ Let's build this thing together and spread the word. The more the merrier, sweeter the berry.
