Hi guys.
FYI, I just spent an hour on youtube watching Holmes/Watson vids set to a variety of songs alternating between mopey, amazing-cheesy, crescendo-ing love songs and the boppiest, ass-kicking-est, auto-tuned shit you ever heard.
HOMOSEXUAL VICTORIAN ROMPING. <3

Not fandom related! GASP.
This is, in fact, all about x-mas. I'm planning a present for a special person that I love (NONE OF YOU, HAHAHA, SORRY), and I would like to know something from you, flist, a collection of some of the smartest people I know.
If you had to pick, what were the five books that changed your life?
eta: okay, okay. Here's mine, but it's more than five, because I'm a poop.
To the Lighthouse Virginia Woolf
Light in August William Faulkner
On Photography Susan Sontag
1984 George Orwell
The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles Haruki Murakami
Leaves of Grass Walt Whitman / Night Wraps the Sky Vladimir Mayakovsky
Catch-22 Joseph Heller / Slaughter-house Five Kurt Vonnegut
The Catcher in the Rye JD Salinger (SHUT UP, fuck you, this book is awesome.)
