Gee up, Spot, gee up! Come on, why isn't this horse listening to me? You can yell, "Gee up!" all you want, but that horse is too tired to speed up.
2. To encourage, excite, or provoke (someone) to perform at a higher level or achieve greater results. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "gee" and "up."
