Lee Cronin
Lee Cronin (lahir 24 Januari 1982) adalah seorang pembuat film asal Irlandia. Ia dikenal terutama sebagai sutradara film horor seperti The Hole in the Ground (2019), Evil Dead Rise (2023), dan Lee Cronin's The Mummy (2026).

Kehidupan dan karier
suntingCronin lahir di Dublin, Irlandia dan memulai kariernya dengan membuat film pendek. Ia pertama kali mendapat pengakuan melalui film pendek horor Ghost Train (2013), yang memenangkan Méliès d'Argent dan ditampilkan dalam film antologi horor Minutes Past Midnight (2016).[1]
Pada 2019, ia membuat debut penyutradaraan film panjang dengan horor The Hole in the Ground (2019) yang diproduksi oleh A24 dan DirecTV Cinema.[2][3]
Pada 2020, ia menyutradarai dua episode dari serial televisi horor 50 States of Fright.[4]
Pada 2023, ia menulis sekaligus menyutradarai film horor Evil Dead Rise, seri kelima dalam waralaba Evil Dead yang diproduksi oleh New Line Cinema dan Warner Bros. Pictures.[5][6] Cronin juga bertindak sebagai produser eksekutif untuk film lanjutan waralaba tersebut, yakni Evil Dead Burn (2026)[7] dan Evil Dead Wrath (2028).[8][9]
Pada Maret 2024, ia mendirikan perusahaan produksi Wicked/Good (sebelumnya bernama Doppelgängers) bersama produser John Keville dan Macdara Kelleher. Perusahaan tersebut menandatangani kesepakatan *first-look* dengan New Line Cinema.[10][11]
Pada 2026, Cronin menulis sekaligus menyutradarai film horor The Mummy untuk Atomic Monster, Blumhouse Productions, dan Wicked/Good. Film ini dirilis oleh New Line Cinema dan Warner Bros. Pictures.[12][13]
Pada 17 April 2026, dalam sebuah wawancara, diumumkan bahwa Cronin bersama Glenn Montgomery sedang mengembangkan serial televisi horor rakyat berjudul Spiral untuk Blumhouse, Atomic Monster, dan Wicked/Good.[14] Cronin dan perusahaannya juga memproduksi sebuah film horor *found footage* serta film horor *slasher*. Dalam wawancara yang sama, Cronin mengungkapkan bahwa ia sedang mengembangkan film horor panjang keempat berjudul Box of Bones.[15]
