I am really tired of volcanoes!

Second call for holiday cards! They are going to be late probably but they should arrive before next year, ha.

(And um people I owe e-mails: I will get on them! I promise. <3)

This is mostly a post in the midst of trying to soak up every bit of knowledge on Mount St. Helens I can so I don't look like a total idiot on Wednesday (moar public speaking yay) to ask for...movie requests! Kill Bill was the last thing I Netflixed and now my queue is all empty. So tell me: favorite movies? Movies I should see to be a complete human being? Movies that cheer you up at all times or make you cry like a snotty baby etc etc? Tell meee.

Awesome things:
- Decent weekend! Better than decent, possibly? And full of movies! On Friday night I watched Nausicaa with K, which was just as gorgeous and touching as I expected it to be, and on Saturday I saw Burn After Reading at BFMI with...a bunch of people! It was unexpectedly hilarious and ridiculous and HILARIOUS. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice two-hour break from stress and angst.

YEAH I REALLY KNOW HOW TO PARTY IT UP GUYS. CRAZY TIMES.

I also watched High School Musical at two in the morning for reasons I will elaborate on below.

- septacontendor and I are working on a ~*~secret art project~*~! It's going to be fun and cute and online, so I am excited.

- I haven't yet had time to read them, but when I'm done my homeworks hoo boy is there a lot of AWESOME MAIKO FIC to catch up on. kindoflikeyou~ <3

- I went to boot camp for the college paper and it looks to be kind of fantastic. I'm planning to write for Arts, possibly about...comics? We shall see what happens.

At said boot camp I ran into a friend from my high school paper. And a really good friend from WFC, both of who now go to Haverford! Said WFC friend had...you guys, she had an Avatar bandaid. I know right.

- folklaure and I are apparently going to see The Decemberists in November!

- I got M to watch Princess Tutu and she loved it!

Not-so-awesome things:
- When I got home last night at...12 or so? The power was out in the dorm. Not all over campus, just Rhoads and two other dorms. It did not come back on...UNTIL AN HOUR AGO.

Naturally I could not sleep because it was too fucking hot to move, so I watched my download of HSM that pirateygoodness posted a while ago. Apparently Zac Efron is like warm milk, who knew.

- I am so itchy.

- Anxiety attacks: the fun never stops!

My life is boring and full of school. I feel like probably no one wants to hear about it! *laugh*

So. Media! Everyone and their mom has posted their TV Sched for the fall except me, it seems.

Time to shower and read 133 pages of Rushdie before bed. O hai thar literary boyfriend, what have you been up to?

Last year I started watching Doctor Who, and I got maybe six or seven episodes into Season One before I just...gave up. It was a combination of being too busy, and honestly, just not clicking with the show the way I'd hoped to. Around when the finale aired this year, my flist (and friendsfriends, for that matter) exploded with reactions, and my interest was piqued again (despite, you know, most of the reactions being ones of pain).

And then tonight, I saw this:

And my interest was SO PIQUED.
