Sadly, I got voted off of two different LIMS this week. It's a bummer, but I made it pretty far in both of them, and now I can post all of the icons I made for them! If you're into doing LIMS contests, I highly recommend both of them. twopointohno is really unique (you make a set of five icons for every challenge instead of just one) and fs_lims is awesome if you're like me and you miss Farscape.

Have you ever had one of those periods where you entered a ton of contests and then you didn't really think about it for awhile and then you realized, you had about a billion icons from said contests that you hadn't posted yet? That's pretty much what happened here.

Sorry I've been gone for so long, but I've been having a really bleh period as far as graphic making goes. So no new stuff for right now, but I found some wallpapers I made a few months back and thought I should finally get around to posting them. :) Concrit is totally welcome on this post because I'm still pretty new to the wallpaper making. Is 1024x768 even the most common size anymore? I have a super-weird screen resolution, so I have no idea what's normal.

Hey everybody! I posted this on icon_tutorial a week or two ago and a lot of people there seemed to find it helpful, so I'd thought I'd repost it over here for posterity. It was inspired by seeing a lot of posts over there featuring some variation of "Holy crap, this picture is crazy amounts of blue! How do I make it not be that way?" So here's a super-easy tutorial for color balance, for your viewing pleasure.
