What is the rule concerning text only icons? None at all, only some, not an entire set of them, no preference . . .

Just wanted to check before I got started on my icons.

With only a few weeks left for me I'm trying to kick out the last of them. I'm way behind, may need an extension.

Alright, so I've already made a bunch of the icons for this challenge, but I was re-checking the rules before I post and noticed the whole "you can post from movies, musicals, and TV shows" rule. Is this enforced strictly? Can I use fanart? Can I use original art; non-fandom related things? For example, I'm a photographer, and I used my own photos for a few of the icons, is that OK or do I have to re-do those now?

It seems a terribly restrictive rule that also doesn't seem necessary to me. There is nothing else about this community that suggests fan-creations at all; just this rule. It seems out of place.

I also hope you don't mind that my sets of 10 aren't related in the slightest. You will be lucky if more than two icons in a set have the same fandom.

I just joined the icons200 community. I didn't see any place to like write down, or sign up what topics I would like. Does that really matter? I mean, do I start right away and stuff? I don't have my topics chosen or any thing and I'm a little bit confused on how this community is being handled.
I've made icons before and just recently finished an icons100 challenge. I don't quite get the rules on this but it looks like a lot of fun and I would really like to do it.

Hello everyone! I stumbled across this comm last week, and decided this is something I'm crazy enough to try. Icon making is a new thing for me, and I'm still learning.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with coding for a table. Tables have never been my strong point, and I just can't seem to make one work for me.
