I really am liking the hunting trip theory, whether all or some of it turns out to be right or not. It’s so poetic.

Jack makes a tragic mistake, has his good friend who can’t say no to him help clean it up, goes on with life because he’s “strong” and “can handle it” while his friend spirals further into addiction to forget it ever happened, everything’s just peachy for nearly ten years until Jack once again asks a favor of his good friend, who still can’t say no to him and makes a tragic mistake.

That shit rhymes.

I disagree with the idea that it’s too random or out there for “Bon” to be a character we haven’t encountered before or for Jack and Felix to have this secret in their backstories. The series has been in production for years, but we’re still only in episode 5 of season 1. It’s perfectly normal for there to still be characters and concepts we haven’t been formerly introduced to yet. We won’t have all the answers for a long, long time. We don’t even have all the questions yet, I imagine.
