I have smart friends... particularly gray_fires who told me I ought to treat Denver like I treat Porltand. She has very wise "book of Stefanie." In an effort to do this, I am expirimenting with going to work via new avenues (such as Logan, jeebus that's a beautiful drive), finding local coffee joints around this avenue and trying all the chai all the time. I'm enjoying it thus far and have at least 8 more places to go try (suggestions welcome).
In belly dance news...
-Sadie fed us wine and sea salt almond chocolate last night before class, which was good as she tought us one hellava fast very cabaret combo that was very very very different from what I'm used to, and then had us get into groups and create a 32 count combo of our own... me trying to create a cabaret combo... *runs out the door* But I didn't... felt like it though.
-All of the Mat Jacob event postcards have been sent out. What is at REW is what's left... I guess we'll see how fast those go... eep.
-My December costuming month is not going so well, I almost have the bra covered and that is it for my new costume... phthph. However, Ryan will be gone for a week to his grandmothers, in which time I am expecting to have a decent amount of free time doing all the things I want. Which includes finishing that costume.
I am a morning person. And last night I got to bed on time. This morning I shovelled all of the driveway/ front porch/ sidewalk, warmed up both cars and bounced along to the radio on the way to work. I've never been this chipper about snow in years... Stef will be surprised. Well, and the fact that it makes the evenings brighter for a bit longer whilst getting the dogs on a walk. Speaking of which I saw some very very very cute ones on my way to work this morning. Particularly a tripod doberman and this HUGE shaggy moppy looking thing that I wanted to squish and cuddle up with.
And I can't get this song out of my head... Good morning!!!! Wheee!!!

I am.
