i_want_2I miss being able to go outside and spend a few hours in the sun. When will winter be over already?
Genius me burned my fingers on a pizza bite tearing it in half for my nieces. Yeah, it came out of the oven a few minutes before, but, you'd think I'd have remembered that. Nope, dumb ass is typing funny now.
All broke, gonna go spend the last of my money tomorrow on red potatoes. Can't wait, they're on sale and I'm going to get me several bags so I can have some for planting and eating. Ever had a stew made with red potatoes? They're the best. They used to cook them with everything back when I lived in Florida, from coon to gator tail, it makes everything better. Even white potatoes, red potatoes makes them better.
Of course, being part indian, part white, I might be a little biased.
I can't wait until next week. Bidding for my auction offering will be done and I can get to work on fanfic again. I miss it. After weeks of writing original fiction, getting back to fanfic will be a welcome relief.
Also, I am deep in the second episode of Grimm and I am already obsessed. He's male, older Buffy. Not skeletor Buffy, but "You have fruit punch-face" Buffy. Loving the germanic influence of the show, it's nice not to have an Anglicized version of the fairy tales brought to screen. Supernatural is bad at that. Supernatural may top in special effects and monster design, but this show feels more authentic with the mythos. Also, no overt christianizing, so far, which Buffy had a major leg up on Supernatural for.
Effects: 1 Supernatural. 2 Buffy. 3 Grimm.
Makeup: 1 Buffy. 2 Supernatural. 3 Grimm. S&G are kinda tied, because, bad costumes.
Story: 1 Buffy. 2 Supernatural. 3 Grimm. But only because Grimm is new and hasn't arced yet.
Mythos: 1 Buffy. 2 Grimm. 3 Supernatural. You can't beat Joss, sorry, but it's true.
Camp: 1 Buffy.
Meta: 1 Supernatural. 2 Buffy. 3 Grimm. Sam and Dean reading S/D porn. Game over, folks, we have a winner.
